With all the video equipment already available to this group...why would we need to buy someone else's company? Start fucking and filming. Who needs them?
-
Like I said...waiting until the bugs get worked out. The world needs early adopters, but I don't need to be one. I'm perfectly happy being constantly 6months to 2 years behind the times knowing I have a more stable product and got it cheaper.

I went to the bank last week...the teller is a girl I've known as a stripper for years.

They sure do need the market share. They want to sell the games, not the consoles. That's where the money is. They are a software company, not hardware.
-
Right on point.....I was trying to describe the common condition I've observed most of them portray. That's it.
-
Quite simple really....DO MORE of the things that will help. DO LESS of the things that don't help but compromise our rights. Not black and white, as usual. Can you point out where the 9/11 commission recommended the Patriot Act?
-
Again....who said it was premeditated murder? It is premeditated killing. A lot of people getting their hackles up when I use that accurate and specific term. Almost as if they think premeditated killing is wrong while trying to hold onto the idea that state run execution is ok.

The Time to Act Is Now- A great read about Global warming

We have better technology, science, and understanding now. Even if it is a normal process, you don't think we should do anything to prevent it? We've always manipulated our surroundings to make it safe for humans, why should we stop now? -
-They actually lose money on it.
-
Hell, when I was 12 I don't think I ever DIDN'T have a hard on. And what the hell do they mean by "a spot"...a pimple?
-
Without a monthly fee? Costs nothing with Windows Media Center . That's cool....you can play music wirelessly from your pc with tivo now? I didn't know that. How about viewing pictures or mpegs from your hard drive in your pc? Do they interface completely now?

Does it matter? -
Xbox for one simple reason. Has built in Windows Media Extender support. So, I can wireless connect to my media center pc through my xbox and play all the tv shows, movies, and music on my hard drive, plus use the DVR. I voted xbox right now...but I am waiting a bit. I'll wait until the first price drop, or they go on sale somewhere, and until they fix the bugs they're sure to find in the first batch coming out.

Bottom line is that most girls can't seem to get through that job without some help. That means drinking or drugs. They may like it at first, even get a thrill out of it. But for them to make good money they have to lie to guys about what they'll get in the couch room, or actually give it to them. Grinding their asses against some fat dirty drunk guy's package...with the occasional guy whipping out his dick or trying to finger her...that's every day life for them. Even if they aren't drinking or high for every shift, they are affected in other ways.

Ladies, here's an easy way to see if he is worth your while

Well there you go...that's an answer to a question for you too....no? Are you looking for the timid type or a guy who likes it down and dirty? Mama's already given away her preference -
The peace symbol that shows up in the middle is the key I think. These people have got to be stoned.

Actualy letter from Gillette executive: Would someone tell me how this happened? We were the fucking vanguard of shaving in this country. The Gillette Mach3 was the razor to own. Then the other guy came out with a three-blade razor. Were we scared? Hell, no. Because we hit back with a little thing called the Mach3Turbo. That's three blades and an aloe strip. For moisture. But you know what happened next? Shut up, I'm telling you what happened—the bastards went to four blades. Now we're standing around with our cocks in our hands, selling three blades and a strip. Moisture or no, suddenly we're the chumps. Well, fuck it. We're going to five blades. Sure, we could go to four blades next, like the competition. That seems like the logical thing to do. After all, three worked out pretty well, and four is the next number after three. So let's play it safe. Let's make a thicker aloe strip and call it the Mach3SuperTurbo. Why innovate when we can follow? Oh, I know why: Because we're a business, that's why! You think it's crazy? It is crazy. But I don't give a shit. From now on, we're the ones who have the edge in the multi-blade game. Are they the best a man can get? Fuck, no. Gillette is the best a man can get. What part of this don't you understand? If two blades is good, and three blades is better, obviously five blades would make us the best fucking razor that ever existed. Comprende? We didn't claw our way to the top of the razor game by clinging to the two-blade industry standard. We got here by taking chances. Well, five blades is the biggest chance of all. Here's the report from Engineering. Someone put it in the bathroom: I want to wipe my ass with it. They don't tell me what to invent—I tell them. And I'm telling them to stick two more blades in there. I don't care how. Make the blades so thin they're invisible. Put some on the handle. I don't care if they have to cram the fifth blade in perpendicular to the other four, just do it! You're taking the "safety" part of "safety razor" too literally, grandma. Cut the strings and soar. Let's hit it. Let's roll. This is our chance to make razor history. Let's dream big. All you have to do is say that five blades can happen, and it will happen. If you aren't on board, then fuck you. And if you're on the board, then fuck you and your father. Hey, if I'm the only one who'll take risks, I'm sure as hell happy to hog all the glory when the five-blade razor becomes the shaving tool for the U.S. of "this is how we shave now" A. People said we couldn't go to three. It'll cost a fortune to manufacture, they said. Well, we did it. Now some egghead in a lab is screaming "Five's crazy?" Well, perhaps he'd be more comfortable in the labs at Norelco, working on fucking electrics. Rotary blades, my white ass! Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe we should just ride in Bic's wake and make pens. Ha! Not on your fucking life! The day I shadow a penny-ante outfit like Bic is the day I leave the razor game for good, and that won't happen until the day I die! The market? Listen, we make the market. All we have to do is put her out there with a little jingle. It's as easy as, "Hey, shaving with anything less than five blades is like scraping your beard off with a dull hatchet." Or "You'll be so smooth, I could snort lines off of your chin." Try "Your neck is going to be so friggin' soft, someone's gonna walk up and tie a goddamn Cub Scout kerchief under it." I know what you're thinking now: What'll people say? Mew mew mew. Oh, no, what will people say?! Grow the fuck up. When you're on top, people talk. That's the price you pay for being on top. Which Gillette is, always has been, and forever shall be, Amen, five blades, sweet Jesus in heaven. Stop. I just had a stroke of genius. Are you ready? Open your mouth, baby birds, cause Mama's about to drop you one sweet, fat nightcrawler. Here she comes: Put another aloe strip on that fucker, too. That's right. Five blades, two strips, and make the second one lather. You heard me—the second strip lathers. It's a whole new way to think about shaving. Don't question it. Don't say a word. Just key the music, and call the chorus girls, because we're on the edge—the razor's edge—and I feel like dancing. Pssst...Quade...it's a joke.

Well, that's true too. But you need to at least start with the actual words someone says, rather than a third party accounting of what they said. Then you can gauge the context. It's being critically objective to avoid being duped by propaganda. I try to apply it to both sides of the fence on all issues.

Hey baby....you know I'd return the favor...with interest -
Yes, when legitimate and recognized news organization actually "quote" someone I take that as credible. When somene paraphrases something, I take that as their opinion of what the other person meant.
-
I'm not splitting hairs at all. I asked for a source quoting them in the first place. Yes, if you claim someone said somthing, the appropriate proof would be a quote from them. Not someone else claiming they heard them say it. Ever play whisper down the lane? Of course you have, that's how they write newsmax articles.
-
Really? That's suprising. I thought part of the draw was that they got better mpg in the city than hwy, because of the brakes recharging it.
-
That's other people saying they said it. Like you saying they said it. Show me a quote of them saying it. I don't claim to know that they for a fact did say it. And if they did, I'd like to see it. But other people say they said it, without a direct quote, is not enough to believe it. Pelosi (whom I don't much care for) said she supported Murtha's plan, which was not an immediate withdrawal. It was a troop reduction plan over time. And when a vote came up to immediately withdraw, both she and Murtha voted against it.
-
Quade....give him some credit, man. After all, it's not like he thought it was a legitimate newsmax article.

Ok, just as long as I have your permission, I'll do that. Don't be mad at me when I walk away and leave you with a hard-on though. I'm willing to risk that once you get the results of your poll (pole?), you won't be going anywhere....but down.
