Thanks Dan, that's been the general consensus from the canopy pilots I've discussed it with. So basically, get used to the Twitchy nature or try something else? Would it help to load it lighter (although...don't want to...) ? Fly Your Slot !

Some of us had a similar problem at the Old Home DZ (Closed now). He never really understood that we are not just skydivers and students... WE ARE THE CUSTOMERS. Fly Your Slot !

The great thing about this forum is that you will find a ton of information on that very subject. Go back through old threads in Safety and Training, and even Talkback and you will find lots and lots of people with the same problems, and experts with good suggestions. When I was researching changing canopies, I found ALOT of good stuff by going back through the old threads. That's what I want for the RW Forum. A wealth of resources. I guess it takes awhile to build what they have in say....Safety and Training. Very good points about the ability to get personal help. Guess we should take it as a compliment that people have to ask more about FF & Swoop that RW. Fly Your Slot !

I don't have them alot anymore, but my first year, I used to have these "NIGHTMARES" that I jump with no altimeter. It used to scare the shit out of me. I would wake up in a sweat. Seems really silly now, lots of people jump with no Altimeter. Fly Your Slot !

San Marcos's Otter ran out of gas on jump run on the sunset load. They tried to keep the planes in formation...but the formation fell apart. Then, there was Cessna traffic at (can you believe this) around 2,000 right over the DZ. No radio, no one saw it coming from 14,000. Couple of people opened close, and were shocked by it, but no one was hurt. They completed one 40 way yesterday. Started at 8:00am today. Fly Your Slot !

One chick told me to stop showing my boobies on the Drop zone. She said it was degrading to women, plus..the serious jumpers would never consider you a serious skydiver. Since Ive been jumping at the new Dz, I am "the new prude Paula", I must say, the old crowd doesn't like it, but I do get alot more respect from the serious jumpers. Look. We all spent ALOT of time on the ground during Student Status. It's the nature of the beast. And as far as calling ahead, yeah....it sucks. But Manifest chick making minimum wage is supposed to tell all customers "Yeah, come on out, we are jumping...:" It's sales, it's not the little girls fault. Tell your DZO how much it sucked and how much gas and work and any other thing it cost you. If he's a true businessman, he will make it up to you. Use it to your advantage to get a discount or free jump. Business owners really do want satisfied customers. Paula's not ready for that shit... I don't really like BIG WAY as my discipline of choice at this point. I have too much to learn and work on before Im ready for Big Way. Entertaining tonight. Think some jumpers are gonna stay with me (and Antimike, whose jumping with em) instead of driving cross town or getting rooms. Berke is a slavedriver. Dirtdives start at 7:30am. What a great skydiving chick I am, have clean showers, dinner, beer, tequilla and any skydiving movie you would want to fall alseep to. I can give an extended report when the guys get home.
