  1. Racers are now the most expensive rigs out there. Power Racer's are $2150 while the shadow NOS are $1350. Na' Cho' Cheese
  2. my dad and I have NOS's and he used to skysurf and I freefly I don't see much of a problem with the freefly friendly thing Na' Cho' Cheese

  5. yes: pin protection because its on your back, 4 flaps for fast reserve deployment (and pop-top), comfortable, looks. Na' Cho' Cheese

  7. because I'd reather be going down under a round reserve. if your under a square your going downwind and it will hurt (maybe not because your knocked out) if you hit an obstacle. Na' Cho' Cheese

  11. and another thing... I don't like how jumpshack sets up their pud unless its different on a 2K3 but on a NOS like my dads and my uncle's rigs it looks kind of sloppy. You have to use your fingertips to get a hold of the thing. Na' Cho' Cheese
  12. dual steering lines on a sport canopy? as for that I would just make sure you lines stay in the center when pulling the tail around. the rubber band trick will help. Na' Cho' Cheese
  13. I'm just trying to make things better and more safer... malfunction wise. oh and on my personal rig I don't stow the lines in rubber bands. I think I set some kind of packing record. I packed my main parachute in under 2 minutes from the time I stepped in the hangar too stuffing the boc. Na' Cho' Cheese
  14. well its obviously not necessary because there's a lot of people who don't do and still get perfect openings. I'm just saying that the "rubber band trick" will help eliminate the line over problem. Na' Cho' Cheese
  15. yeah they usually don't break and you slipknot tie them like on your d bag. Look at the way they pack the tandems. On icuras tandem canopies which don't have break settings, you'll usually find them there. Na' Cho' Cheese

  17. yeah let me try to explain it better cause I can't find a picture. On the inner most D line put a rubber band on each one. one rubber band on one of the right d lines and one on the left d line(you know when you propack you split your canopy in half). then you take your stablizer lines and your steering lines and stow them in the rubber bands. left lines go in the left rubber, right lines go in the left rubber. what this does is keep all your lines in the center of the packjob.   21. when I say "he slowed down" i mean his vigil had fired, and he had a reserve. then you would ask why did he pull the pilot chute...? well he thought he had horse shoe malf. so he pulled. but when he looked up and saw the reserve he started pulling in his pilot chute(the pilot chute didn't deploy the main) Hope that cleared the confusion. this is hard to put into words. Na' Cho' Cheese
  22. A friend of mine just got a vigil and put about 200 jumps on it. Just today it wouldn't turn on. He asked me to come and look at it and with much trying I finally got it to turn on. it said it was set for pro and ready to go. My friend and I did a 2 way and we broke off and he had a aad fire at 2500 as he was pulling his pilot chute!!! luckily he slowed down enough so it didn't open but still. sending it to the factory to get that free cutter replacment and to see whats wrong with it. Na' Cho' Cheese
  23. I throw the slider over my shoulder then flake it out. my dad does it opposite. but what I do to prevent a line over is once everything is flaked grab all the lines and stow them in rubberbands on the d lines. the wrap the tai. Na' Cho' Cheese
  24. The racer is the nicest rig out there. If you get it custom made(or even if you don't) it fits so nice on your back. It has a lot of experience making the rigs... like 20 years. their reserve deploying method is the fastest because of the pop-top. I recommend this rig to all who wants the nicest rig on the market!!!
  25. I think differently. I think only a select few or those that deserve to jump should do it. When I say "deserve" I mean kids who have parents who've been in the sport for a very long time, or played an important role in Skydiving. Na' Cho' Cheese
