Yep, personal attacks seems to be the best you can do. I see you have been unable to debate the claims and now have to resort to the only play you have left.
-
Third time..... I have to wonder why you always try to make an argument that was not made? You do realize that encouraging commerce, if it worked, would be a return right?
-
This is a great point. People keep claiming that fraud is such a small number but I have not seen any data that would show how many would be 'disenfranchised'. Your other point that a fraudulent vote is disenfranchising valid votes is also correct.
-
You know that's why I feel the way I do? Or are you making a claim that you can't back up? Mr. Hayes has provided the ONLY decent argument against it. As long as he is willing to admit that some elections will be 'stolen' and that he is fine with that. Then he has a consistent position.

And it has been provided more than once... Even Mr. Hayes provided an example of the issue in FL. Since the 2000 election was

What Profession Best Prepares a Person to be President

Does not matter. The job of the SCOTUS is what decides if something is Constitutional or not... Not the President. So you claim that we "would not have to worry about that pesky Constitution" is crap. Plus the fact that we have had Presidents that were not lawyers... Pretty much proves your position false in the real world as well. -
Not to anyone that paid attention to him prior to this election.
-
No, still on track.... You however have tried to derail my comments twice now.

http://www.factcheck.org/2008/01/the-florida-recount-of-2000/ "According to a massive months-long study commissioned by eight news organizations in 2001, George W. Bush probably still would have won even if the U.S. Supreme Court had allowed a limited statewide recount to go forward as ordered by Florida’s highest court. Bush also probably would have won had the state conducted the limited recount of only four heavily Democratic counties that Al Gore asked for, the study found. On the other hand, the study also found that Gore probably would have won, by a range of 42 to 171 votes out of 6 million cast, had there been a broad recount of all disputed ballots statewide. However, Gore never asked for such a recount. The Florida Supreme Court ordered only a recount of so-called "undervotes," about 62,000 ballots where voting machines didn’t detect any vote for a presidential candidate."

Still the delta was less than the number of theorized fraudulent votes. Never forget that the Republican party of FL worked to drop several thousand low income people off the rolls.... (Not claiming the Dems are any better, they tried to drop the military absentee ballots... One of which was mine.) So an accurate voter ID system would fix many of these issues. But back to his claim that voter fraud never hurt anyone.... That is just false.

Senator Feinstein puts hold on reciprocity bill

Still illegal per the CGA of 1968. -
Yes. But unfortunately we have a lack of engineers and the govt already backs loans. The best we can hope for is to limit the taxpayers risk.
-
How cute... The best you can do is personal attacks.
-
Loan is not equal to freebie... But I get your point. That would be great except the US trails the rest of the 1st World Countries when it comes to making and keeping engineers.

Last I checked, the Supreme Court was the one that decided what was Constitutional... Not the President. -
The govt should invest in things that are lower risks. You as an individual however are free to invest YOUR money in whomever you want. Roads stimulate more commerce than Amtrak... Your analogy fails again.
-
Romney.... He is a true politician and will change his position to get votes. Republicans should be ashamed they voted for him. Yes, he has business exp (good IMO, better than most of or officials being lawyers).... But his civil liberties positions are just crap and switch based on the direction of the wind. Romney is a conservative.... Bullshit.
-
No, I am saying that a few hundred votes matters. You do know that by some recounts Gore won right? You can try to change the facts, but a few hundred votes DID decide the 2000 election (by as little as 100 votes, by some counts). So your claim that voter fraud has no impact is just not true.
-
The part that really got me was the 18 mins between the start of the attack and the police arrival. This victim will never be the same.

You either are being obtuse, or you don't understand. I think I know which it is, but I''l try one time to explain it in simple terms. The Govt should not be taking risks by backing loans for degrees that will not provide an education that will pay enough to actually pay those loans back. Yep, and engineer will make 100k+, A Liberal arts major 30-40k *maybe* in most cases. Which would YOU personally invest in with your OWN money? Here you either choose to be difficult or didn't grasp it..... I don't know many roads designed by a liberal arts major. Again, this has nothing to do with this subject.....

It is still illegal to buy or sell to a person with a mental illness.... (So much for your claim) -
It is called "investment". You don't invest in things that do not bring in a return. Engineering - Yes. Accounting - Yes. English lit - No. Why would the govt back a loan that is never going to be paid back?

Not being a lawyer.... no offense. -
"Most "adjustable" rear sights on handguns are marked to show you which way is up: A counterclockwise movement of the screw is usually going to raise the point of impact. A clockwise movement of the windage screw will usually move the point of impact to the right." Some not all. Again, some not all. Or a screwdriver depending on type If you are referring to only one type of drift adjustable sight... fine. But there is more than one type. I had a buddy with a Glock with "Drift Adjustable" sights.... Said so right on the package he bought. It was adjusted by a small screw. It also broke when he was doing weapons manipulations. So yes, if you want to claim there is only one type of sight... fine. But that is not true.

Again, you avoid the question. How many have that kind of cash laying around? I do, maybe you do as well, but how many of the general public do? Not what people SHOULD do in your opinion, but how many actually have that.
