I always found that lifting iron girders all day, welding and drilling steel beams and the stress with walking on 6 to 8 inch I-beams all day long high above concrete slabs really allowed for a restfull nights sleep.

The sores are caused by scratching. The chemicals used in the manufacturing process are so foreign to the body, they crystallize just under the skin. Body is trying to reject the chemical. It causes major itching. They will actually scratch and claw trying to soothe themselves.

Threesomes, jealously, and confusion...oh my
JeepDiver replied to anonymous100's topic in The Bonfire
Well this is the problem with jealously, and confusion and bitterness and untruthfulness and differing moral values of the different people involved and the outsiders people let in. I really can turn out to be a mess. More often than not it precedes a break-up. Do it outside of serious realtionships. Or within extremely stong ones. -
I can't make it to Dublin, but thanks for asking.

Since skybytch went to all the trouble of being a group leader on myspace.com groups, why are there not more dropzone.com users in the group? http://groups.myspace.com/dropzonepostwhores Where are all the post whores?

I like jumping my own packjobs, it adds a certain level of excitement. The first one was a little worriesome but I didn't focus on that all that much. Just opened a bit higher than normal, everyone knew I was opening high. I just used it to further ingrain my ep's in my mind and to act on them if need be.

I say go for it. More than likely the realtionship is falling apart anyway. I've never had jealousy issues considering all the many, many, many, many, threesome, foursomes & outright orgies I've been involved in over the years. Some of my fondest memories are still captured on video tape. My college days wore me out for a few years but was able to recover by going through a 12 step program. I've completely recovered. -

Thanks for the wild turkey, the headache went away after several hours. Ask Popsjumper if he want anymore Malibu after this boogie. -

I haven't been able to find my firewire. Otherwise I'd have a few to add to this thread. Where are all the other pictures that were taken? -

I had a great time meeting so many cool & new people. It worked out well for me, I had the weekend off, which in and of itself has been unknown for many years of my life. If it would have started snowing I would have enjoyed that. Sunday was just awesome, I was last out of the skyvan, my first time jumping one of those. I was about a mile northwest of the airport but with the uppers as a tailwind I was able to track all the way back from being on the otherside of the river. I'm glad I went. I met so many great people, too many to list in fact but thanks so much to everyone for being so friendly. -
Congrats! great looking gear!

Get through your AFF safely. Personally, I found I did not enjoy that many of my AFF dives. What needed to be done, was done & done safely. There was too much to do, but it needed to be done to deal with the fact that you are jumping out of an airplane high above the ground. RELAX RELAX Do what you are doing... safely. I am (personally) in no rush to do anything quickly... because I'm am very much older than most new guys. I am 40 years old & proudly a student. I do however very much enjoy all that I've done and I do it safely. Wait untill your able to do a few solo skydives under no pressure to complete your learing objective for the skydive. Once your cleared (for solo) you'll see (perhaps) as I have, that they are some of the very best skydives you'll ever do. It's truly a beautiful planet we have the pleasure of jumping over. Once you are able to do it with friends.... well wait and see, it's awesome. If what I say is wrong, those with huge jump numbers please correct me. I'm just a humble student after all.

I tried a gunner on and liked the way it fit me. I was undecided between the gunner and the mindwarp at the time. I ended up buying a mindwarp. I'm very happy with it. I'm thinking of getting a mamba as a full face helmet in the next few months.

Unless I have factual information, I generally have very little to say. I understand the point of your thread. I often do not have the time to reply to most threads or I am unwilling to make a hasty conclusion about a subject I am unable to answer/understand intelligently. I was trying to be witty. Glad you approve. There is nothing worse than trying to be witty and failing badly at it.

Mine is green a couple inches from the pin.

Newbie Unintentional Spin Question
JeepDiver replied to skrovi's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
On my 1st release dive with 1 aff instructor soon after I was released I started to go into a slow right-hand spin. I tried to correct it by not relaxing. The spin soon developed into a highspeed totally out of control right-hand spin. My AFF instructor crashed into to me attempting to deploy my pilot chute (unsuccessfully I might add) I beleive he went under me at that point, I maintained altitude awareness throughout my out of control spin, fliped over onto my back, righted myself, was stable and deployed at 6k. I corrected this problem soon after by working on my arch with a stable equal boxman body posistion, relaxing & correcting any drift by countering it in the opposite direction. talk to you instructors prior to the next jump you make about maintaining a stable equal boxman body posistion, relax and enjoy your skydive. I'm new just like you so I only know what worked for me and discuss with your instructors anything you see, hear or read about prior to making a skydive. -
end cell closure on my pilot168
JeepDiver replied to billyg23's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Not saying that I know the correct answer. I did this on my sabre2, as soon as I started a right rear riser turn with my brakes stowed my right end cell inflated followed quickly by the left end cell. I was doing practice evasive actions at the time.
