    250 Ninja's a great starter bike. Assuming you've got some serious miles logged between your legs (thought I'd set you guys up for some chuckles ) I'd recommend the 500 ninja. Cheap, more power, similar ride characteristics, easy to resell when you move up again after about 20,000 miles. Motorcycles are inversely proportional to canopies, the bigger they are, the quicker they can kill you. Upsize slowly and then ride the hell out of it.

    I do! Which is why I just redid my helmet for the Umpteen time. Each time I do, it becomes a little bit better... and then we find another "something to improve". One of these days, I'll get it right. Until then, fell free to comment or give advice!!!

    Agreed! But my sugestion was to introduce his thought process to include all controls available. There's a huge difference in wing deflection between brakes and risers, play with and learn both.     For skydiving... Cam/Hype Eye or equivalent????? Sorry, but that’s a deal breaker. Holding a remote control in my hand is not going to cut it. Sure, I could attach it somehow to my gear.     Two comments... Half breaks? You might even try rear risers. It tends to be more efficient, but, a bit harder on the arms. Secondly, I think the only way you were wrong was in not talking about this with the folks there and then making a couple more jumps. You never learn by giving up.     It's always interesting when I get in the plane with my old CRW rig on.... shit hanging out all over the place, newbs shaking their heads in wonder. The biggest problem is my rigger won't pack anything that is old enough to drink??? Nothing wrong with old gear. But I sure like my newer stuff??
