that was one awesome vid! Thanks for sharing

Almost agree with you here. Very stable. Check! Very pretty. Check! If you by "top performing" mean if it performs better than the S6; The lift and glide for me is much better. Speed? well aprox. the same give and take.

Blade, Vampire, and others; a derivative of the great Skyflyer suits? Yes! And your point is?

could someone please post pics showing a Javelin rig with wingsuit mod (aka dynamic corners). Closeup pics of the mod and how (bad?) it looks when packed. I think swoopers also use this mod. Thanks

I bet you can't. Now is Tuesday 2003-03-18 13:29:00.000000 CET -
I have it and a Blade. I think the Profly is a fast rocket and the relaxed flying style of the S-Fly suits apply here also. I use it for performance flights and just having fun - its a blast. I use the Blade for flocking as I experienced some troubles slowing down in the Profly (in it I really do suffer from the BLPS) . In the Blade I can simply adjust to every situation - and with ease. The Blade and the Profly: two different animals. Love them both. If Tristan wants to race me - I know what suit to fly.

eeeww: Isn't that a bit HillBillie like? Swooping mountains, scanning the forests for lost tourists to "harass" "thats a mighty fine mouth..." -

some instructors at my club want's to sew some stitches on the sliderstops/slider, so that students can't use them. I think that we should just not mention them to the students as you suggest. More experienced students will eventually ask "what are they for" and they could collapse the slider then. What remains is then only that tear and wear on lines will increase as the slider is left uncollapsed in most of the jumps.
-
what about the slider. The Solo has a collaps system on the slider. Ya'all is this a problem to handle for students? Left uncollapsed the slider vibrates and flaps a'lot imo.

got mine too - just one month

Rod is the one person I know who can really fly that suit like he stole it. He proved that at the AN-72 boogie and at the wings over Marl competition. Rod still holds the record for most spectacular flat spin and recovery from a flat spin at the An-72 boogie. To his credit, he actually made back into the formation afterwards. Rod is a good dude. Yes absolutely, Rod made everybody think positively about that suit. Jaw-dropping performance. I never understood why he did not want to post the video showing this. It would have sold tons of GS1's...!

Blade and Expert... But what about the Profly? I personally only have 5 jumps on mine, so my not so experienced review is: Right out the door, it is like jumping on a fast moving train and just hold on.. That instant speed sensation is real because when you look at the ones you are supposed to flock with they are quickly left in the dust. Then you raise your head and dare I say it bend your legs "Tristan style" trying to slow down. Did you have that experience also?
