  1. I knew it... Tristan you bad boy.... With all those videos up there, you just can't get away with anything anymore
  2. yes you are right. That suit must not be too big. My suit is just about the right size, if I loose some pounds that is..
  3. you just did not fit the suit I guess. That would be the "issue" with the S-fFly suits, Either you fit the fixed sizes (S, M, L and so on) - or you don't.
  4. I have newer experienced any flapping what so ever on my Profly or even heard of this. I think you must have flown it "Birdman" style, i.e. bended legs or something. The S-Fly monowing suits, you must fly them with legs and arms all stretched - at all times. It is only the hips; up, down and to the sides, that moves. Maybe you where not aware of this?
  5. keeping the subject to what this thread is about: You tried the Profly at Zell am See. How do you compare the Profly to SM1 and others?

Have the Profly myself. It's fun. If it is about going for speed or range the Profly will be my weapon of choice. I talked to Le Pat about the characteristics of the suit and we agree that its a bit of a "wild horse". A strange feeling to fly that fast even though you are just spreading arms and legs and not pushing for speed at all. So in the beginning you really don't look to find the max performance sweetspot, instead you just hurl along wondering "does it have brakes this thing?"
  8. No it was only on the way to Zell that we had a little chat with nice german police folks. They where specifically fishing for tourists... We did take some "familiy" photos w. us and the police - maybe we can post one, will check..
  9. Yeah too bad - sucks Looking forward to the vid

  13. Finally the weather improved and I got to try my new Profly. That suit really rocks . Others have described its high performance. I just say: high forward speed!!!, easy to fly, no twitchyness. Also don't think that it requires as much strength to fly in comparison w. some other "big" wingsuits. Plus: the big wings are not in the way when reaching for the handle
  14. made a couple of hundred successful xfire-2 119 wingsuit jumps w.o. any problems what so ever. Then suddenly I had to perform "plan B" two times, both within a short period. Due to linetwist/diving canopy. I did the math, and then I got me a Sabre2 135 Suggest you do the same
  15. ok but you can zoom in on the pic's in Photoshop...
  16. Sorry one have to work once in a while besides flying wingsuit
  17. From Hanne: BIRDS - BIRDS - BIRDS Don't forget the event in Zell am See the 17th and 18th of November. Lots of birds have shown their interest and like last year we shall make the necessary arrangements
  18. yes I did and I ordered one on the spot. The suit was not my size, so I couldn't fly it myself, but the guys that did, they flew around us in circles literally. The suit is based on the Expert design and you can fly it using the same natural arm position (the greatest plus of the S-Fly suits imo). You don't need to hold the grippers, but they can be used to put more tension on the entire suit. The wings are gigantic but I never saw anything flaping even when the guy flying it was flying slowly with the formations.
  19. Right! Patrick, I need my nylon crack!
  20. no I was way too slow on that one, so forget that
