  1. Yes, GB is well known for the high level of integrity in it's media....... Well, I do like the BBC at least.
  2. They used both at the same time apparently. I just looked it up an it seems they have dropped both for the most part. https://www.mixdexhq.com/tv-news/answers/does-fox-news-still-use-the-fair-balanced-and-we-report-you-decide-slogans/
  3. I'll bite. It's a play on the Fox News slogan of the past. "We report, you decide". At the time they were claiming to be the only real objective cable news service available. I believe they eventually dropped it when it became such an obvious lie that it was the butt of jokes.
  4. Turtle posts, you decide. Completely neutral and unbiased.
  5. Ya, they don't have the guts. SCOTUS is filled with 9 very smart people. Even if they lean to the right they know that they are playing with fire if they go too far. They have to keep the goodwill of the people on their side because the court can be packed. In the end even if the D party has an historic sweep, they won't tamper with the SC. Unless the SC gets too far out of line.
  6. I have read that although Congress could reduce the size of the court, it would have to be through attrition. The appointments are for lifetime once made. Only impeachment can remove a Justice.
  7. It allows you to haul more because the Garret/Honeywell turbine that replaces the R-1340 radial engine weights 383 lbs versus 930 lbs. for the geared 9 cylinder P&W. It has nothing to do with the power.

    Q

The Q beliefs remind me of the old beliefs that were once pushed about "the elders of Zion" and Jews kidnapping babies to use in sacrifices. The are designed to dehumanize those seen as enemies. After they become less than human the next step is teaching that they don't deserve to live.
  9. There is and never has been a piston engine Twin Otter. Every aircraft has a weight that it is certified to take. There are many reasons for that, and the length of a take off roll is not one of the main ones. What is a main factor is how the aircraft will handle when the engines fail. In an emergency situation with no power there needs to be a reasonable chance that the pilot can keep the aircraft in control and perform a no power landing rather than a crash. MTOW numbers are hard limits normally independent of STC approved upgrades to the propulsion system. But I still think that electric jumpships are something that will happen.
  10. It never has been. More power will give you faster turn times. Turbines and even turbos will allow you to keep the climb rate up where the air is thin. I'm not sure about this. Can you provide an example? A piston powered aircraft is generally loaded to the MTOW, or as close to it as possible in a skydive operation. A more powerful aircraft like say a c-130 will be limited by the space for jumpers rather than the weight limits.
  11. Not that I disagee that an electric jumpship is a great idea, you keep on saying that more power allows for more weight to be carried. That is not correct. Increasing the power of an aircraft does not increase its MTOW.
  12. Are your people really so desperate as to be still flogging away at the body of this long dead horse?
  13. This is actually mind boggling. https://www.npr.org/2020/10/14/923851384/biden-announces-record-383-million-september-haul I know money alone can't buy love, or elected office. But...... https://www.npr.org/2020/10/15/923946468/poll-biden-takes-double-digit-lead-over-trump

    Q

I'll just say "whatever" to that wiggle! However, I will agree with that "How QAnon is spreading unproven theories through the suburbs" is poorly worded. They are not spreading theories, they are spreading outright lies.

    Q

Do you really consider evolution to be an "unproven theory"? I didn't know that about you.
  19. I never said computers can't count. Banking must be accurate because both sides of the transaction keep their own count. A bank that cheats will be out of business very soon. Voting is done by secret ballot. Where is the accountability? Without a record of who voted for who, there can be none.
  20. Are we getting more balanced and fair unbiased items dumped on us that I am missing? Pity.
  21. Covid most likely got a start in the US at the CES convention in Vegas in January. Well attended by people from around the world including of course Chinese tech industry reps. I'm sure more cases arrived after that as well, but the seed was likely already planted.
  22. Block chain schmock chain. Too much is at stake and people have to believe. We demand a paper trail. And while we are at it we also demand fiat currency.
  23. Brits NEVER have humor. They are like Canadians and have humour.
  24. Keep on pissing guys. I still can't tell who has the biggest dick or the longest stream. PS, Joe, it is not possible to have the last word with some people. Remember, the best part of valour is discretion.
