That was clearly the case and was announced a couple days ago. The court is supposed to be free of politics, but it clearly is not and can never be. This R victory will cost them at the polls most likely. But I am certain that if the positions were reversed the other party would have done the same.

I know that guns and gun rights are important to you. I don't really understand why though, even though I do appreciate them as fine machines and even as tools when needed. In my life most of the people I know find that the easiest way to keep guns away from their children is to just not have any in the house. But a few people do have them and yes, they are secured in a gun safe separately from the ammo.

Hummm.....you seem to think that somehow along the the way i have disagreed with you. I have not. But again, punishment is not the point, and deterrence is not the point. That fact that guns are so pervasive in America that toddlers shooting themselves and each other is a regular thing is the point. Get it?

I can think of better ways to reduce the death toll from firearms among American toddlers. Which is the point of the thread.

Canada and the US currently have an agreement restricting cross border traffic to essential services only. I am allowed to go back and forth in my commercial truck to pick up and deliver freight. You would not be allowed to come and visit me at this time, and I am not allowed to go south for a skydiving vacation.

I'm sure he would be a fine neighbour here in the Crestview neighbourhood of Winnipeg. But I fear he may be a little on the old side to adapt to the winter. And many of his weapons could not travel with him, so he may feel fearful. And.....there are raccoons in the area and I know for sure he sees them as a metaphor for evil.

All he really needs to do is avoid pissing large numbers of people off. You know, like by calling them "deplorables" or something. Nearly a third of the votes have already been cast from what I hear. It may be best for Joe to keep his head down and just let Trump make more errors. Doing rallies is not going to change any minds. Those people already are voting for him.

I've been leaving this mostly alone for a while now. Busy summer and all. But this just popped up on the CNN front page. Not at the top because, well, a 3 year old dying of a self inflicted gunshot wound just isn't really news in America. I mean, it happens all the time right? Ron, even in GA Stacey Abrams almost won over Kemp. And GA is a place that works hard to suppress the vote. There are a lot of people in your state who would be just fine with D policies and would not feel like they are being ruled by outsiders. Change is coming to a place near you.

I have often been fooled when trying to predict the outcome of US elections. I will say this, I am encouraged by the fact that a lot of R supporters have pretty much given up on trying to get the dotard re-elected and are focusing on doing as much as they can to attempt to save their Senate majority.
