That's bullshit. The lawsuits are frivolous. The real purpose of them is to give the election deniers something to rally around. And what do you mean"all the way through"? They have no basis in fact and will be dismissed quickly. That is all the way through.

It is starting to come into focus what that horrible man is going to do now. He knows he has lost. But he is going to appeal to his supporters to send him more money to fight on. Then he is going to continue to insist that the election is fraudulent. He will do everything he can to sow discord and to keep the USA in a state of disunity for his glory. Q will continue and some of it's adherents will plan violent actions. They will justify it as working to undo the stolen election. God help America

Pfizer is reporting some very favourable preliminary results for it's vaccine this morning. The pre-opening stock market is soaring. https://us.cnn.com/2020/11/09/health/pfizer-covid-19-vaccine-effective/index.html

Neither of those things are popular in my universe.

I'm getting a good laugh out of watching the GOP leader types squirm as they try to figure out if they dare defy the wounded first family and its ridiculous demands to pretend that lawsuits could somehow alter the outcome. The Dotard is so used to delaying and getting his way by wearing down people and abusing the court system. He may actually hope American democracy can be subverted if he can just throw enough lawyers on it. He still has weak people in his party fearing him, but waiting and watching for the chance to put the knives into his back.

"To paraphrase Joe Weber, we have the United States of Socialist Republics and the Patriotic States of America." Really Ron? The reality is that the red states are socialist takers sucking at the teat of the prosperous and thriving dynamic cities of the blue coastal states that drive the US economy forward and pay the bill for the social programs you enjoy. As Joe has pointed out more than once. Just how is it patriotic to be a taker?
-
Luciferians vs Christians, black vs white, liberal vs conservative, capitalist vs communist, Ron lives in a very simple world of absolutes. It is how he copes.
-
He will blame the "China virus". Not his handling of it of course. Around the world many politicians have gained popularity by being seen as doing a good job in a crisis. But not Trump, he totally blew his chance to rise to the occasion. But mishandling an emergency was always seen as the greatest risk of having such a man as POTUS. He performed exactly as most thinking people expected he would.

Ron, seriously tell them to start accounts here. We won’t censor them. We will only laugh.

Canada said “thanks, but no thanks” to participating in the neo-con effort to transform Iraq. We were all in for the more justified Afghanistan war. -
I predict that getting the R nomination for 2024 will be next to impossible without a Trump endorsement. Unless he doesn’t give one, which is not likely. He will try to play a kingmaker role.

I never was a fan of WWF wrestling. That kind of entertainment is weak and superficial. Good for 15 minutes, not four years.

It has already been going up since Wednesday. The markets have priced in a Biden win. They will likely go up a little more and then plateau for a while.
-
The source I used defined the electorate as "eligible voters". I guess that may be significantly different from registered voters so perhaps a lower turnout for apathy that I am claiming.
-
Popular vote? About 75 million for Biden, 71 million for Trump, and about 95 million did not vote. Once again apathy is the big winner!

I don't see anything there that would lead to a criminal prosecution. I can see technical possibilities, but mostly for things that no one has ever been prosecuted for in the past. Or if they are have they are marginal. Campaign finance laws in the US are pretty much a joke, at least at this level. The Foreign Emoluments Clause is vague at best and has never been tested.
-
Personally I don't think there is any realistic possibility for a criminal case against DJT. But there has been a lot of talk in other threads about "lock him up". So, I'm asking here, just what would you have him charged with that may stick? Note, I am not asking about civil lawsuits which is entirely a different matter. I do suppose that tax evasion of some sort is a possibility, but I don't have a clear idea about it. And there has been loose talk about money laundering, but nothing concrete. There are some strong feeling out there that he should be punished. But what exact criminal acts do you want him charged with?

Biden did not have rallies.

They used to fight nazis. Without waiting for Japan to attack first. Unlike “America firsters”. -
Elections are important. Unfortunately in another week or so the US is likely to have another massive increase in COVID from all those people who for whatever reason felt in person voting was the way to go.
-
I am assuming that is exactly what he will do.
-
Will make you laugh. And is completely bi-partisan.

I agree. It would take some kind of crisis. A revolution or an ultimatum from powerful states threatening to leave.
