There is getting to be more tolerance of overnight truck parking in pandemic times. One of the main reasons stores don't like it is that so many idiot drivers leave piss bottles behind. The "dickwad" knows his reefer is loud and he parked away from the other trucks in order not to bother them. Most trucks these days don't need to idle overnight, the have battery powered APUs. Neither are they campgrounds. Fuck you too! Seriously though after a while you will easily figure out where to park your 35 ft unit where the 70 ft tractor trailers can't bother you. How much suffering and extra death does that cause? It is hard to measure. How many people are sick in the hospital or dead from vaccine side effects? That one is easy. None. Winsor hangs onto to anecdotes, even though he claims he knows better from all appearances out of a deep seated distrust of ......well, I'm not sure exactly what, but deep seated it is. Yet he is triple vaccinated himself. Pandemics usually burn themselves out in something around 2 years. This one will likely more or less follow that pattern. And we will have a new endemic disease to add to the long list of things we cope with all the time. Between infections and vaccines it is no longer "novel", except for within the the refuser group. And as we move away from the precautions that we are tired of it will soon enough get to all of us just as the flu does. Those who made the foolish choice will each pay the price. But it won't be the same price for all of them. Society as a whole will also pay a price financially. I wish there was a way to make the irresponsible people pay that as well, but mostly they will be insulated from that.

I'm starting to hear now that it is very transmissible but less virulent. Maybe. What I am wondering is if it is less virulent because it is showing up in a lot of people who are vaccinated or survivors. Perhaps it has not yet had a chance to infect many of the hosts in which it would still be a novel infection.

So, you would think a good conservative would find it to be a civic duty to help the nation and the local community to do what they can. Yet for a good number the opposite is what they think. Apparently false information like the kind Winsor seems to be attracted to has convinced about 15% of the population where I am and an astounding 30% of the American people that it is "wrong for me".

And clearly harm reduction is what the vaccines are providing. Where I live nearly 80% of eligible people (those older than 4) are vaccinated that is down from the 85% before it was approved for children, but is rising back up quickly. Even though they are a minority the vaccine refusers make up about 60% of new cases. Leaving about 40% to be among the fully vaccinated. But those sick enough to need hospital care are mostly from the refuser group and among the ICU bed occupants almost all are unvaccinated. The few that are not mostly have other conditions that weaken their immune system. Vaccination more than reduces the death rate. It almost zeros it and if you don't get sick you don't get long term effects from being sick. It is a classic no brainer. Please stop making posts about things you don't understand. Please do go to whatever sites you hang out in and do your best to spread the word. Vaccines are good.

As I travel around I see no signs that any of the states I visit in the US are anything other than "open and free". It has been months since I went into a store that required masks. Other than for staff who are usually the only people wearing them. Bars and restaurants seem to be open everywhere. I don't know what is happening in schools. I do know that rates are climbing in cold weather northern states. As you seem to be predicting.

The vaccines would suffice to suppress the virus to the point that they would run out of people to infect. There is no delusion or illusion there. They are near miracles of scientific achievement. But even if we only had Astra Zeneca and J&J they would still be far more beneficial than harmful. They are not "outright bad news", that is bullshit that you are picking up from hanging out on fringe websites. They are saving lives all over the world in places that are not fortunate enough to have the very best vaccines like we do.

It was not the mRNA vaccines that were having a problem with some clot formation. It was the Astra Zeneca and to a lesser extent the J&J. Your "research" is very seriously flawed. Go back to the beginning and relearn with an open mind. This post alone is making me seriously question the level of basic understanding of the facts of what is going on that you possess.
