  1. sure, although 9/8 works well too. For larger appeal something a little simpler might be more fun. Not everyone wants to go modal in weird time signature. BTW I just picked up the Guitar Hero game - like that Dance Dance Revolution stuff with a plastic guitar, www.guitarherogame.com, seriously fun stuff, when servers werent exploding last night I was backflipping off my couch playing Rob zombie and SRV tunes. TV's got them images, TV's got them all, nothing's shocking.
  2. bahaha exactly. so I had this guitar jam idea, upload a backing track somewhere dz.com guitarists record themselves playing a melody, send it to someone who edits it all together for a big guitar jam spectacular. What do you think? go back to your home on whore island! TV's got them images, TV's got them all, nothing's shocking.
  3. You are a smelly pirate hooker! TV's got them images, TV's got them all, nothing's shocking.
  4. I love lamp. TV's got them images, TV's got them all, nothing's shocking.
  5. A good dick joke is like the universal credit card of humor. kinda like accusing Sudsyfist of something outrageous in a Bonfire post. Like the following: Wow Sudsyfist did that thing with uhm sinker ...again. Yeah..like a penis! ROFLMAO! LOL PIPMKAO! I am MONEY! ......see? like a stunted little club foot. TV's got them images, TV's got them all, nothing's shocking.
  6. you're welcome to the tea - there's a reason I left that place. And if by "so some fat wrestler can grab you from behind and give you a reach around" you mean "so you can hit other guys in the face with STEEL chairs" the answer is YES. In Plainfield CT tomorrow night at 8PM EST with Empire Pro Wrestling, for an evening of family entertainment at a very reasonable price (Kids are always only $10..............while supplies last). TV's got them images, TV's got them all, nothing's shocking.
  7. That post you made about you and SudsyFist. that was gay. I just got done watching Opera and I wanted to let you both know that I love you both. It's a real shame about you Americans and your stunted sense of humor, like a little psychic club foot that we Europeans try our best to not stare at. That is all. TV's got them images, TV's got them all, nothing's shocking.
  8. Um. Yeah...ok. I'm bashing him because he's successful, not because he's a money grubbing bastard who'll happily piss on his legacy for another buck. The trick to art is knowing when to stop. George doesnt understand that in his rush to highly paid mediocrity. The video games always seemed truer to the spirit of Star Wars than the recent movies. TV's got them images, TV's got them all, nothing's shocking.
  9. Leia didnt know she was adopted. TV's got them images, TV's got them all, nothing's shocking.
  10. Yeah, same here. I was 6 at the time, and thought exactly the same thing - which is why I've always considered the first 3 books to 1,2,3 - especially since it covered some history mentioned in eps 4 and 5. TV's got them images, TV's got them all, nothing's shocking.
  11. No it wasnt. The title was added a little later after Empire was released (as chapter 5). Edited to add: The "Original" first three chapters were: Han Solo at Stars End, HAn solos Revenge, and Splinter of the minds Eye. Star Wars lore has always stated that Vader got scarred in a battle against Obi Wan after he fell into lava, a fight that occurred during the clone wars. I have no clue who started it or where, but I first was told it by a friends older brother shortly after the release of Empire. TV's got them images, TV's got them all, nothing's shocking.
  12. ACI!!! I've been working about 42 hours straight, i'm not firing on all cylinders. TV's got them images, TV's got them all, nothing's shocking.
  13. Yes. The fact that George Lucas is a money grubbing whore who doesnt care about logic or continuity in search of another buck and another licensing deal with McBurgers and Kenner Toys. TV's got them images, TV's got them all, nothing's shocking.
  14. Urm. which AC? TV's got them images, TV's got them all, nothing's shocking.
  15. uhm. Maybe I can help: Very few americans have a sense of humor compatible with yours, they just sorta dont get it. It was a horrendous shock to me too. Comedy here mostly sucks because of it, with a few major exceptions (who remain mostly quasi celebrities. Bill Hicks) Americans cannot and do not ever understand dry humor, it's beyond them - with a few exceptions ("I've had British friends before", "I watch PBS", "I'm operating at a level slightly higher than mildly retarded" are comonly cited examples) They need HUGE signposts like.... "hey, those static line guys huh! crazy! they OFFEND ME (HUR HUR HUR)...ya know? should we just kinda ignore them? (HEE HEE HEE)." At this point they understand it and everyone gets to laugh (while I go douse myself in gasoline and hunt for a match). On the flip side you also have the ability to say whatever comes into your head during important meetings: "Yes Sir, you're a drooling spigot of flatulence" and it's always written off as 'that whacky English guy" rather than "He who speaks the truth". In conclusion, these here americans startle easy. Try to use subtle clues such as [JOKE][/JOKE] tags. OR I've found that most Americans realize what is in close proximity to either of those will pick up on intended humor. I think perhaps the difference in the way their lips move when hitting square brackets and emoticons snaps them out of the 'read/breathe' rhythm they get into. It's actually quite cute, like watching monkeys learning to use tools. Except for Sudsy, mostly you'll have to send him a private message around the same time and explain the joke to him or he starts flinging poo everywhere. TV's got them images, TV's got them all, nothing's shocking.
  16. I for one ph34r his obviously l33t skillz TV's got them images, TV's got them all, nothing's shocking.
  17. heh what's funny is that the Christian apologists have this awesome story about itinerant priests using pine trees to symbolize the trinity back in the 6th century or something. Of course, theres a history of them believing anything they read, so it stuck TV's got them images, TV's got them all, nothing's shocking.
  18. I'm kinda local to this.. the 'holiday' tree was called that on the state website, much to the Mayors displeasure. Everywhere else its referred to as a Christmas tree. The blue laws thing is simply business as usual here in MA. TV's got them images, TV's got them all, nothing's shocking.
  19. I'm with you. It'll be 12 months before everythings stablized, the next gen comes out with all the bugfixes, better cooling and upgraded firmware and the developers actually start coming up with games that use the new hardware in a way that's close to approaching its possibilities. That and things start getting cheaper. I dont think I've bought a full priced video game since 2003 except for GTA: SA, usually i just dig in the bargain bin for the top seller from 6 months ago. Actually I havent heard of a compelling reason to buy any system recently except for the PS 2 (Halo just didnt do it for me after the previews of what could have been and what it ended up being). TV's got them images, TV's got them all, nothing's shocking.
  20. Urm. If the FBI and CIA want to speak to me they're not going to do it via email.
  21. I realize you weren't asking directly for criticism. However, the initial pimping of Stagecoach gave the impression that at least one person involved in the company reads (and posted to) this board. My response was really a reply to what I felt was your overly defensive reaction to some well intentioned criticism. No offence intended. And GTA was simply an example, sorry you might have missed that point
  22. yes, it's worrying but its how things are. I agree with you, but am too jaded to be shocked any longer. Things are a little better in a post911 world. you wouldnt believe what could be found before then TV's got them images, TV's got them all, nothing's shocking.
  23. No negativity here, just my observations as to why I dont play the game. 1. Too complex. Everything takes 20 clicks. I will read a game manual for something requiring lots of strategy, not for simply wandering around a virtual world. Sorry, There.com didnt seem as complex. 2. Dull.....sorry, There.com had the same flaw from my perspective, gamestyle content offered in a world where it's trying to provide interaction. So instead of interacting I try to play the content - but because it isnt really a game the content itself isnt overly complex or engaging in the long term (GTA does skydiving/base better). 3. If I want to chat I'll use IM or if I'm desperate I'll use IRC. I dont want performance issues and need a graphics card simply to do a gesture that a few well chosen words will convey. 4. I'm a guy, I dont like to play dress up - especially with fake money that requires me to get additional funds. Urm, its annoying. Not everything requires a price tag in life, games that forget that tend to piss me off. (on the plus side the game doesnt have a feeling of being a complete whore unlike There.com's constant buttsex with Nike, Gap and whomever else will throw money there way). 5. On that subject: Cybereconomies. F that. If Stagecoach is the sort of thing that floats your boat I wish you luck. To me its too bloated to communicate with people regularly and the content is too lame to try and play with regularly. It's complexity nullifies any casual interest because you have to read the freaking manual to do anything. Skydiving in GTA - get rig, get altitude, jump, hit a button - I can even move around in the air and it didnt require a manual to work out how to do any of those things! Oh, and it's free. And it doesnt lag, stutter or draw junk on my screen. Of course, you're more than welcome to ignore what ive said as negativity in the same way that you would if I called your baby ugly, or you could accept that some people, including those with over 15 years in the industry (and this space), might have had a negative experience with the game and offer some honest opinions in the hope that it might help. TV's got them images, TV's got them all, nothing's shocking.
  24. Those networks regularly fail security audits because the admins are clueless enough to leave information and systems unprotected. I think at last audit they got a D grade, up from an F last year. TV's got them images, TV's got them all, nothing's shocking.
  25. So that would be none of them then. TV's got them images, TV's got them all, nothing's shocking.
