  1. I'm really beginning to wonder what you got against neolithic goat herders. Some of my best friends are neolithic goat herders.
  2. Partially correct. Rose Hill Antifa and Patriot Prayer on the left. Proud Boys on the right. The violence began with the left. Proud Boys showed up to battle. What could go wrong. I don't think there's anyone on here that does not believe in Free Speech. The line of demarcation is violence. Both sides are at fault. Both sides are extreme.
  3. This is more than practical advice. One will probably learn they need an attorney more than they think.
  4. Concur. Local guy wore pink everything. Canopy, pink & teal container, pink jumpsuit, etc. He had a ZP pink. Turned neon pink when it opened and the sun hit it. It also faded extremely fast.
  5. No surprise. The Rivian has more HP than the semi and almost as much torque.
  6. Huh? Maher as a conservative?
  7. This happened to me on a subterminal Hop N Pop with a month old Safire 189. The factory made it right, but it was dicey. Didn't figure out what was wrong with the canopy till around 400' Could feel it and kept seeing a good canopy. Finally got a glimpse of the top skin in the center cell and was more than gentle with it the rest of the way down.
  8. I understand. Got a 15 year old about to charge head-on into the world and the knowledge that I won't always be able to protect her. We'd like to think we're making a better future for them - and then realize we're not.

We did. We can again. You skipped over Desert Storm. But, ya know as long as it's ~45,000 Ukrainians, it's all good.
  10. It was a joke. But, I failed to put the smiley face.
  11. Welcome to the Republican Party.

Pulling from Bill's post in the "Biden Blowing It" thread of, "Gotta say Biden has been sort of kicking butt lately" along with Joe's, "The frog is on the boil, seems to me. I continue to have faith that Biden, our military leaders, and our NATO partners will keep the Ukrainians well equipped and the war contained." - Personally, I'm opposed to the "boiling frogs" approach. 30+years ago, we became mercenaries for Kuwait. They paid the bill. When asked who will help - 200 of them raised their hands. Then, we were paid to get in to it. Today, we pay to stay out of it. If we believe in it enough; we should either be in it or not. I am reminded of Katrina. Multiple vendors feeding 3-7,000 people three meals a day. Sean Penn gets off the helicopter with a couple of bags of groceries and the media paints him as the great savior. No surprise. Celebrities always throw money at it so they don't have to get their hands dirty. It's all theatre.
  13. There is a US Embassy in Ankara and it is now open from 8:30-5:30. https://tr.usembassy.gov/
  14. Thank you for the information. I was having a conversation the other day with a fellow veteran "at risk" who refuses to get the vaccine. I've been trying to educate him and he responded the other day with, "How come you see all these people falling over dead." My response was, "We've always had that many people falling over dead. What we haven't had is camera phones in everyone's hands filming it." I did more research on the paper itself and the dataset was as a strong in preventing bias as I've seen in quite awhile (A triple blind dataset). The original paper can be found here for $35.00: https://www.jacc.org/doi/epdf/10.1016/j.jacc.2022.12.006 Impact of Vaccination on Major Adverse Cardiovascular Events in Patients With COVID-19 Infection

  17. I may have missed the mark with, "Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation." My intent was to remind that phrase is mentioned more than once in the Constitution and the Commander's "intent" was to have congress develop laws that supported the constitution AND the welfare of the people. If we think gun responsibility laws can't be done, then all we need to do is look at the NFA and understand that is the reason not everyone has a machine gun on their hip or suppressor on their guns. I don't understand these judges overturning laws for gun responsibility, yet allow the NFA to exist. And, of course, as soon as I say that - that too might get tossed out.
  18. Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.
  19. it. does. Not. MATTER. "Popping Popcorn" So, you accomplished your mission, Ranger. You are awarded the Distinguished Medal of Troll.
  20. The article you posted. THAT YOU POSTED! ". . . 60 printed auto sears, small devices that can convert firearms into fully automatic weapons." I don't care what his reason was. One cannot make a sear to make weapons automatic WITHOUT A TYPE 07 FFL. Sit back and watch. The ATF is gonna crawl up his ass. EDIT: The above posted before reading the rest of the thread. Thanks, Phil
  21. For now, Brent. For now. That was city. The federal government is about to land on his chest with both feet. Please stay tuned to the Guardian as this story is updated. Shit.
  22. FROM THE ARTICLE YOU POSTED: " . . . the seller turned in 60 printed auto sears, small devices that can convert firearms into fully automatic weapons." You cannot manufacture 60 sears and say they're for personal use. You have to have a license to manufacture those parts.
