I'm not tracking. Where they are or who they are? Cause who they are and politeness is defined in a sacred document, "the pursuit of happiness." Who they are . . . as in race, creed, color, sex, etc. was defined in Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. And yet, here we are, and where we are, some sixty years later - is having the conversation again. Leave people the fuck alone. Mind your own business. That's all people got to remember.

It is. I should back off the totally not teach sex ed in class, cause we all had "a," "1," sex ed class, but when you left the class - it was over. It is in every class now. The kids are getting tired of it. They know. Again, THE most tolerant generation.

Nope. The school shouldn't be teaching shit about sexuality. Frankly, my daughter and all her friends are tired of hearing it from class, to class, to class. She is the quintessential nerd - advanced/honors everything. she just wants to learn about the subjects and not be subjected to every teacher's cheering the cause the first 15 minutes in each class. "Daddy, it gets really old." This generation is more than aware, receptive and understanding of varying sexualities than any other generation, but they tire of everyone's agenda.

So is that the two-step or the foxtrot?

We try to not make fun of the special needs children in this state. [southern lady accent] God bless his soul. [/southern lady accent] Jon Stewart was no less than masterful. I was dying laughing.

That was good. +2 points

Now, I'm really confused. I thought it was liberals = snowflakes and conservatives = nazis or are things not the same as it used to be.

It was a joke, Joe. Choose love.

My mistake.

I'm really beginning to wonder what you got against neolithic goat herders. Some of my best friends are neolithic goat herders.

Partially correct. Rose Hill Antifa and Patriot Prayer on the left. Proud Boys on the right. The violence began with the left. Proud Boys showed up to battle. What could go wrong. I don't think there's anyone on here that does not believe in Free Speech. The line of demarcation is violence. Both sides are at fault. Both sides are extreme.

You're mistaken.

This is more than practical advice. One will probably learn they need an attorney more than they think.

Concur. Local guy wore pink everything. Canopy, pink & teal container, pink jumpsuit, etc. He had a ZP pink. Turned neon pink when it opened and the sun hit it. It also faded extremely fast.

No surprise. The Rivian has more HP than the semi and almost as much torque.

Huh? Maher as a conservative?

This happened to me on a subterminal Hop N Pop with a month old Safire 189. The factory made it right, but it was dicey. Didn't figure out what was wrong with the canopy till around 400' Could feel it and kept seeing a good canopy. Finally got a glimpse of the top skin in the center cell and was more than gentle with it the rest of the way down.

I understand. Got a 15 year old about to charge head-on into the world and the knowledge that I won't always be able to protect her. We'd like to think we're making a better future for them - and then realize we're not.
-
We did. We can again. You skipped over Desert Storm. But, ya know as long as it's ~45,000 Ukrainians, it's all good.
-
It was a joke. But, I failed to put the smiley face.

Welcome to the Republican Party.

Pulling from Bill's post in the "Biden Blowing It" thread of, "Gotta say Biden has been sort of kicking butt lately" along with Joe's, "The frog is on the boil, seems to me. I continue to have faith that Biden, our military leaders, and our NATO partners will keep the Ukrainians well equipped and the war contained." - Personally, I'm opposed to the "boiling frogs" approach. 30+years ago, we became mercenaries for Kuwait. They paid the bill. When asked who will help - 200 of them raised their hands. Then, we were paid to get in to it. Today, we pay to stay out of it. If we believe in it enough; we should either be in it or not. I am reminded of Katrina. Multiple vendors feeding 3-7,000 people three meals a day. Sean Penn gets off the helicopter with a couple of bags of groceries and the media paints him as the great savior. No surprise. Celebrities always throw money at it so they don't have to get their hands dirty. It's all theatre.

Thank you for the information. I was having a conversation the other day with a fellow veteran "at risk" who refuses to get the vaccine. I've been trying to educate him and he responded the other day with, "How come you see all these people falling over dead." My response was, "We've always had that many people falling over dead. What we haven't had is camera phones in everyone's hands filming it." I did more research on the paper itself and the dataset was as a strong in preventing bias as I've seen in quite awhile (A triple blind dataset). The original paper can be found here for $35.00: https://www.jacc.org/doi/epdf/10.1016/j.jacc.2022.12.006 Impact of Vaccination on Major Adverse Cardiovascular Events in Patients With COVID-19 Infection
