    I am opposed to the death penalty. A permanent "solution" demands a perfect process and we don't have that. On the other hand, I also believe that civilian prisons should be run like military prisons... work all day from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM. No degrees, no cable, no nothing, but hard labor or being in one's cell - period. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Even with my spanky new Airborne certificate in 1980, being in a unit that jumped more than regularly, my skydiving Instructor in 1981 and (a former Black Hat) was Curly Roe and the motherfucker still tortured me with high altitude PLF's. "Now, show me a right rear, now show me a left rear, now show me a... IS IT OVER?!!??! Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

    Less than spectacular?!?!?! He's being gracious. I watch the videos of it to this day and shudder. Chunk an 8 way, everyone else come in, take grips and we make a nice "O" how friggin hard is that?!?!? Hell we'd done it dozens of times at WFFC. 12 other "experienced" skydivers basically docking on a a large SCR. There were people on all levels, below, above, next to - you name it. One guy went shooting between the video guy, me and the formation in a full head down track... it was the closest thing to a complete shitstorm I'd ever seen. I "think" that was the year Turtle got his SCR. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

    I don't think it's an American thing, just an internet thing. It is funny though how people sit at the computer to answer others' questions on an online forum, and all they do is to tell the original poster to get off the internet and talk to their instructor or rigger. The reason people including Instructors do that is out of respect for this post by a mod and made sticky. Please Talk to Your Instructor or Rigger Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
