Dammit... I don't care about the sand.... I care about the seal. How ya doin, Bro... back in country? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Ya know, I apologize. I get so much blah blah that I when I snoped it and it said false, that's what I replied with. But, something as I was closing it down caught my eye and made me got back and re-read it... Hence, the edit about the archives.... As I read thru it it... I wondered why they hadn't put "partly true." Therefore, the squiiggly face... I guess we'll need a www.snopesauditor.com site in the future.... Keith P.S. You know that I look at your big ass every day in my office? Because Bill Newell was on your dive, I had it framed. (Course, Willy's butt is bigger) Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Bob Buquor Star Crest challenges fading?
BIGUN replied to GLIDEANGLE's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
It really is quite a challenge... I made three attempts at SDD and we bolo'd it each time. The real challenge is the USA award... I "believe" its been awarded only 15 or 16 times since its inception. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. -
http://www.starcrestawards.com/ EDIT: Not only is the site new, but the old URL was scr-awards.com Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Was relaxing with some of my fellow veterans yesterday and one of my former Majors is telling me a story about the "Tenth Amendment Movement... A grassroots movement to work with state legislators to restore state sovereignty over those powers not granted to the federal government by the Constitution." According to the retired Major, the next step is that instead of taking the fuel taxes and sending them to the federal government for them to redistribute back to the states for the use of highway infrastructure funds; keep the fuel tax in State and let the States decide for themselves which highway infrastructure requires rebuilding. [Note: I could not validate this statement] On one hand, I think its a good idea, but on the other, have we become so interlaced on not only a global economy; but on our own national economy that we may need to, "Be careful what we ask for?" EDIT: For example, in my world, disaster response begins at the local level, but the financials to pay come from the federal declaration (fed dec). There is at least one major Hurricane landfall along the Atlantic/Gulf coast annually resulting in billions for assistance. Can/Will the States build up their own coffers for such funds. Concurrently, we here in Oklahoma have on average 170 tornadoes and wildfires a year which also result in millions in damage and a little CNN coverage... but for the most part, we as a State take care of it ourselves. Do you know anyone who actually got a green job? (Rant)

While you're in your final months and your course load _may_ be heavy; you should consider working towards the Project Management Institute's PMP certification also. http://www.pmi.org/Pages/default.aspx Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. -

Short Course: It is considered an Instructional rating because they can teach the general subjects (non-specific to the dive flow) of the FJC/refresher for each level of A-F and evaluate a student in the freefall portions of Categories G & H of the training curriculum. It is a stepping stone and "prep" for the AFF/I course. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

What is stronger, the will to live or the fear of death?

The fear of dying gives you the will to live. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. -
I've had a double slide-out for 9 years and never had a leak. Those who complain about leaks aren't getting on top of their rigs and doing bi/annual pre-op maintenance. Ya gots to keep it clean and lubricated and while you're up there need to change out the vents annually and put on new vent covers, check the caulk around the vents, check the caulk on the seams, replace the light covers, etc. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
