huh? Is Dr. Mugabe channeling thru you? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

I'll fix you one too. Headline: Drunk Skydivers Arrested after Statistics Altercation. What are the odds of that (couldn't resist). Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

>If you think that you could do a better job at nuclear weapons research, freeway construction and manned spaceflight than the government, then tax cuts are a good thing all around. Sorry, Bill. Okie dokie... so we went right from discrete random variables into continuous random variables. Shall we walk through all the independent random variables or jump right into Bayes? Cause if we're gonna take that walk; I'm gonna need to fix a drink. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

I'd say the odds are about 1.5 billion:1 that statistics will be the last thing going through your mind. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Yep That's OK. I been making folks disagreeable for about thirty years now and I'm 3rd generation, "Irritating." What say we forgo the statistics class since it's been done on here before and be as safe as we can whilst having fun. Anyone can take the following coursework as an ISP (CEU requirement for me). You do NOT need to provide your SSN. Dave, some here that are LEO specific and since you're part of the ESF role... http://training.fema.gov/IS/crslist.asp Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Well, on this point we agree. While the average person is _probably_ not going to be affected by a NASA incident; the fact of the matter is - even in those situations where people are used to certain environmental/geographical incidents that occur on a regular basis (Hurricanes, Tornadoes, Wildfires, Ice Storms, etc.); they don't adequately prepare. If she's ugly, you can buy her surgery for that. You can buy her some of those boobs - any size you like. You can buy her contacts. You can buy her a facelift, If she gets a little large in the butt, you can buy her some liposuction. Hell, you can just about buy anything to fix her up. But, there's one thing you can't pay for... Ya can't fix - stupid. --Ron White Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

It was my first boogie also. I was home in Tulsa on leave. About the only one's who knew me then were the locals since I was in the military and only skydived when I came home. Got home just in time for Gerondale to give my belly wart a repack. While I was checking in, nobody "knew" me and I walked in with the solid black Paracommander with dashboard to some snickers. Went thru the hangar with me boogie tag on my rig around front looking for some of the locals. Dropped my rig on the ground and got surrounded by some guys who were giving me crap about jumping that old "antique." Just about then, Bob Scheirmeir walked thru the crowd and pointed at my rig and said, "You can make all the fun you want, I got a 1,000 jumps on one of those and no malfunctions." He turned and walked away (he mighta been little thirsty at the time (winks at Bob)) and then everyone backed off. Shot the shit with Mike Sisemore a little bit about buying his then new rig. He was thinking of getting out of the sport (which he did) the Wide World of Sports camera was just trashing his knees. We had an old-timers skydiving party at his place on the lake just a few years ago. In that year; at that boogie, Pete Morris (He and Curly Roe were my Instructors) was doing his 3,000th skydive 36 way. Me and another 100 jump wonder; Jim Lee who was former 82nd Airborne wanted to do a two-way. They stuck us in the front of Mr. Douglas and told us not to leave for 30 seconds after the 36 way had left. There may still be a picture of me out there someplace boarding Mr. Douglas - I only remember looking at the picture and there's everyone else and then this big tall motherfucker. It was the first time I'd met Bill Booth. His head was stuck under this hood thing attached to this really long set of lenses and I remember seeing his beard hanging down. Now, I'd seen them using 'em earlier in the day to count points on the dives, but he was spinnin the thing around at ground level and I asked someone next to me, "What the fuck is he looking for?" He's lookin at the naked chicks. I know Pete still has the T-shirt. That fucker has a storage barn filled with memorabilia. There is nothing in the Geneva Convention(s) regarding the tactical military rules of engagement during battle; whether parachutists, paratroopers, use of 50 cal rounds, snipers or other myths or legends regarding its content. It is about the rules of engagement regarding International Humanitarian Law during a military conflict. The first Geneva Convention was for the, "Amelioration of the Wounded and Sick in Armed Forces and Field." The second Geneva Convention was for the, "Amelioration of the Condition of Wounded, Sick and Shipwrecked Members of Armed Forces at Sea." The third Geneva Convention is, "Relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War" which covers members of the armed forces who fall into enemy hands. They are in the power of the enemy State, not of the individuals or troops who have captured them. The fourth Geneva Convention is, "Relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War" which covers all individuals "who do not belong to the armed forces, take no part in the hostilities and find themselves in the hands of the Enemy or an Occupying Power." http://www.icrc.org/web/eng/siteeng0.nsf/htmlall/genevaconventions?opendocument Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Agree with Jan, you and Chris regarding taller Anvil Brothers presenting additional gear challenges specific to RC length and RSL slack. If I had to venture a guess, I'd lean to the side of a combination of cinching down the leg straps and the multiple times of bending over (cinching, dirt diving, getting on the plane, sitting in the plane, bending over to exit, etc.) pulling the reserve pin back a little each time plus the then load on the RSL if there's not enough slack. As to different rigs; it may not necessarily mean different harness sizes, but just different sized main and reserve trays.
