  1. That's why I posted the Statutory Rape laws for each state. And, in none - is there any exception for a 10 year old.
  2. WordPerfect 5.1 hotkey master here. :)
  3. Two separate issues. Each state has a different statute for Statutory Rape. Missouri is talking about marriage (in which the statutory rape charges "could" apply"). But, what he's saying is - if a 16 and a 17 year old want to get married AND the parents are ok with it, then why should the government get involved. He's not saying a 31 y/o man and a 16 y/o girl - cause then the statutory rape would apply.
  4. Let's get you home and get you to bed.
  5. Thompson Rehder's bill prohibits marriage licenses from being granted in Missouri to anyone under the age of 18. Currently 16 and 17 year-olds can get marriage licenses with parental consent, and marriages are currently banned between minors and anyone aged 21 and up. “Why is the government getting involved in people’s lives like this?” VanSchoiak said. “What purpose do we have in deciding that a couple who are 16 or 17 years old, their parents say, you know, ‘you guys love each other, go ahead and get married, you have my permission.’ Why would we stop that?” https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/politics/why-would-we-stop-that-missouri-republicans-oppose-bill-to-end-child-marriage/ar-BB1m7L8J
  6. Truth. A large family in the sixties was 6 kids. Now three is considered large. Also, until the 60's the Catholic church felt artificial birth control was a sin.
  7. Over the years I've observed the passion for children depends on the size family in which one grew up. Large families - the next generation wants few and vice versa.
  8. To them, the pilot, the plane and perhaps the crowd.
  9. I have looked at it. It's too small for me, but the ladies would be fine in it. My understanding is that the term "discontinued" is more a temporary pause for a year or two to enhance the existing Bolt and not a full stop but a new direction. Harley did this back in 2014 where they didn't produce for a year. They extended the frame 4" and designed some other modifications to prepare it for the new Milwaukee 8 engine and called it the "Rushmore Project." So, I'm interested to see that direction from Chevy while keeping an eye on Tesla and the others.
  10. Thanks for the feedback, Bill. All minor issues and fixable - which occurs even with new ICE vehicles.
  11. Curious. Did you have a bad experience with Tesla? I'm asking cause the two ladies in my life are looking towards EV as their next purchase. Tesla being on the top of the list. Overall, a 97 NPS with pockets of pure pissed off at Tesla. Note: I have been keeping track on Consumer Reports and there's some "issues" that prevent us from taking the leap sooner than later.

  13. Huh? You got no poor folks in Canada?
  14. I don't know if he was a flaming butthole before his purchase of X or if it just amplified it. About four weeks after the purchase and seeing him get a case of twitter thumbs, Dm'd him and suggested he hire an X CEO and go back to saving the planet and exploring new worlds - where he does his best work. Eventually, the noise on X got so bad that I deleted my account. I sometimes wonder if he's on some type of Howard Hughes path. Hopefully not and all he needs is a good vacation. I still admire the man, but wish he would re-focus on the core technologies that will benefit the planet. ~just one man's opinion.

  16. Damn - you guys are good. Nothing like having the knowledge of the universe in your hands.
  17. LMAO - Leave it to you to find something, Bill.
  18. Would you have a book we can reference?
  19. A four lb loss = 1 inch. Proper diet and some exercise will lose that in one week. You got two. Quit worrying and get busy.
  20. Not really. And, I'm kinda with TK on this one. Multitudes of scholars can recite the history, but not the solution.
  21. My bad. My brain typed a 1,000 but my hands typed 10,000
