I got placed as; Ft. Worth, Houston & Jackson, MS. While I'm a bit north... Got seven years of living in Texas and about a year of working around Jackson after Katrina. That value is based on calendar; but not necessarily "time in sport." For example, I had 9 years in the sport; then took 9 years off after the military to work on my "civilian side" (College, employment, etc.). Then, when I was financially sound again put another 9 years "in sport." So, 18 out of 27 years from start date instead of 27 cumulative years. "In sport" is important when it comes to ratings & knowledge. Same reason pilots use hours in type. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

When we (Oklahomans) don't have our cursory 110-115 degrees for ten or fifteen days the first part of August; we know it will be a tough winter. Its been a lighter than we've had in the past ice storm.
