    I agree with both you and Turtle... But, I still wonder if he went from 0 to 100 mph in 5.0 and if there was an attorney involved - why didn't the attorney just send the school a letter?     What size is the reserve? The Navigator doesn't come in a 230... you mean 220? Even so, it should do you well. You could use it for the first 100 or so jumps while you're learning how to fly well and then; change it out for a similar cubic-inch sized Sabre, Safire, pilot or other. And, you may choose to keep the entire Nav system as a backup rig and in a couple of years or a 1000 jumps (whichever comes first) get an entire new setup as your primary. Food for thought.     Highly recommend a WingsEXT custom made to fit you. Your choice of ~190 in a main (Safire, Sabre, Pilot) and PD or Smart reserve. Decide on and purchase a reserve first, then main.... Have two separate riggers take your measurements for the harness. Then, place the order for the harness. ETA: I've owned Vectors, Icons and have jumped Talons, Javelins, etc. The longer EXT works for us tall ones. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

    General internet rule of thumb is to speak with your Instructors about gear purchases. I may be a bit cynical; but 350-500 jumps on student canopies that are 5-7 years old seems a bit of a stretch. If you decide to move forward; have your rigger inspection be a part of the deal.     Lately for some reason, there's 3 receipts auto-generated. I'm more inclined to review the itemized bill (they do make mistakes; intentional or not), tip against the actual amount on the merchant copy (I won't tip on the taxed amount). Then, take the customer & itemized copies with me and tear them up. Yeah, I'm kind of a dick about it. But, there's been one too many times of my bill being wrong.     My biological father left when I was 3ish. I briefly met him again when I was 14. He did us a favor. My stepfather was a hard-working blue collar guy that was distant, but put food on the table. Both taught me what not to do when it comes to my daughter and for that I thank them. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
