  1. Fair Question. Around 2014; they had a much higher admin overhead cost (so much so they were raising eyebrows and with the number of veterans requesting assistance; but, getting WWP beanie caps instead - raised a lot of eyebrows and they were scrutinized at that time. When people/organizations started withdrawing their support; WWP was placed on the government charitable paycheck withdrawal program. Most government employees were encouraged to support this new program with direct charitable donations taken out of their paychecks. The result was a much greater income; thereby shrinking the admin costs virtually overnight. ETA: Charity ratings[edit] The Better Business Bureau's Wise Giving Alliance has accredited WWP as meeting the 20 standards for charity accountability.[32] According to Charity Navigator, WWP allocates 58.8 percent of its revenue to program expenses and 35.2 percent to fundraising and administrative expenses.[33] WWP received a “C” rating from the American Institute of Philanthropy (Jan 2016), C+ by Charity Watch, and "three out of four stars" from Charity Navigator.[34] According to Nonprofit Quarterly, "Depending on the rater, the Wounded Warriors Project seems to have scored low (Charity Watch), high (BBB Wise Giving Alliance) or somewhere in the middle (Charity Navigator)."[34] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wounded_Warrior_Project#cite_note-Nonprofit_Quarterly-34 Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

  3. OK, I'll play. If the USPA were to implement regional S&TA's to perform audit reports on Group Members sent directly to the USPA; how well would that go over? I ride a motorcycle. When shopping for helmets there's a DOT certification and an ECE certification or both (Wherein ECE is automatically DOT). DOT is an in-house quality program by the manufacturer. ECE is an external quality audit program brought in by the manufacturing council. Hence, ECE is accepted in 70+ countries, whereas DOT is not. Therefore, I'll buy an ECE/DOT certified helmet. 4. About 20 years ago; I was teaching college full-time. At that time, I was an avid fisherman with a penchant for fly-fishing trout (Arkansas has some great trout fishing). One of my female students blew a gasket. "How could you hurt fish like that?!?!?! What do you mean? Those hooks in their mouth MUST be torture. No. Fish have no nerve endings in their mouths and the flopping around you see isn't due to pain; it's due to the flight mechanism when caught. But, EVERYTHING feels pain!!! OK. 5. I akin the goings on at the Clinton Foundation to be that on par of The Wounded Warrior Project. Peel back the layers and don't look at "some" of the good results that are intended for public relations motives; but the cronyism and foolery behind the scenes. The Special Forces Association withdrew its support of the WWP some time ago. Hence, the reason for the Green Beret Foundation. http://www.itstactical.com/centcom/news/as-a-disabled-veteran-i-no-longer-support-wounded-warrior-project/ Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Not sure I understand the context of your statement. I figured that would keep her busy for along time. You know. Who was the first man and all. And she could read/ study the bible next. Adam and Eve and all that. Kinda thought you went there. Just couldn't leave it to SC, could ya? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Thanks, Nat. Want her to learn to stand on her own two feet and not "need" a man in her life; but to "want" a man. Too much divorce, separation in the world and it's time to teach the little ones "freedom of choice" and independence. 10. No, Bill I don't and am doing some research now. What you stated above appears true and I may have to retract and restructure my statement. Thanks and be a little patient with me as I learn more. Keith Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

  14. You're right. There is no problem with insider business deals. At least not for Republicans. It's just normal for them. Seriously? 15. Last month, rent hit $169,758, nearly four times what he paid earlier in the spring. The Clinton campaign is paying $211,750 in rent per month for its Brooklyn headquarters. Sounds like he's still supplementing his own campaign and the debate is over location (because his corporation owns it). 17. OK. Thanks. Did a search but not using those parameters. Here's the deal from my perspective. My other half started her Veterinary business 20 years ago. The landlord offered her no cost lease for six months, so she could get up and running financially. She was then tied to a lease based on gross revenues with a cap after a year. They're called gross leases. He basically subsidized the campaign headquarters till they got money rolling in. To me, this is a non-issue. Hillary's still got him outspent 2-1. 18. I suppose one has to question whether or not fish know what pain is? Do they have the mental capacity to suffer? I don't know. I'm guessing it hurts to get a sharp piece of metal jammed through their mouths and hauled to the surface. You could make a reasonable argument that even catch and release fishing is just cruelty for the sake of sport. And, as another poster accurately stated, catch and release done sloppily just kills the fish more slowly. Unlike humans fish do not possess a neocortex, which is the first indicator of doubt regarding the pain awareness of fish. Furthermore, certain nerve fibres in mammals (known as c-nociceptors) have been shown to be involved in the sensation of intense experiences of pain. All primitive cartilaginous fish subject to the study, such as sharks and rays, show a complete lack of these fibres and all bony fish – which includes all common types of fish such as carp and trout – very rarely have them. In this respect, the physiological prerequisites for a conscious experience of pain are hardly developed in fish Read more at: http://phys.org/news/2013-08-fish-pain.html#jCp Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Yes, this type of time telling is half past. My foray into ensuring she knew how to use an analog clock was based on having a sister who never knew anything about analog. She grew up on digital. the school had digital clocks - everything was digital when it first came out on those watches in the 80's. Now, I have a 40+ sister who I can't tell to meet us at a quarter to 8; I still have to say 7:45 On a separate, but similar note; they no longer teach cursive in schools. When I found out, I asked, "So, how are they supposed to read the US Constitution?" "Oh, it's online in block font." Good news is there's cursive writing books an she likes cursive (it's pretty). So, Mom's lunchbox notes are in cursive, my emails to her are in cursive, etc. Y'all have a great day!! Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Morning, Jerry. Absolutely agree. It was something she came up with on her own. Didn't know she knew anything about the metric system until she asked that question. And, then asked her how she knew about it... she told me she came across it in a book and since it was numbers would learn more about it. We talked about what you said. When I was stationed in Germany; I had this conversion chart I walked/rode around with so I could convert everything. Then, one day I was driving down the road and the sign said, Idar-Oberstein 100 Kilometers. I looked at my speed (k/mh), the gas tank (liters), etc. and reached for my conversion table. It was in that moment, I thought, "Why am I doing this?" I knew "X" number of liters would go "Y" number of k/mh and that 100 Kilometers was roughly an hour ride. After that, I never converted again. It just became a a "knowledge" of time, speed, distance, and fuel consumption. Never looked twice again at how many miles was a Volksmarch distance in Kilometers. It became just a distance - the same as knowing or saying 5 miles to anyone in the States. Yes, I am a proud PaPa. Even more so when I received an email last night asking if she could participate in an after hours advanced STEM class. YAY!! Have a great day, Sir. My daughter is 8 years old and loving STEM. 90th percentile in the nation for her age in math, loves to learn programming, etc. Each night, we do her homework first and then I add more to keep her challenged. So, before it's time for her to go out and play, she was asking me several questions in rapid fire, the last being, "How many centimeters in an inch." (I didn't know she decided to learn the metric system on her own). I told her that I didn't know, but, "Let's ask Google - it knows everything." (Little research methodology 101, right?) Sure enough, we enter, "How many centimeters in an inch?" and it pops up 2.54. I said, "There, you see when Daddy's not around, you can ask Google anything." She said, Anything?!?!" Yes Honey, anything. OK. Ask it, "Who was the first man on earth." I thought you were going to go outside and play? 24. Two hunters are out in the woods when one of them collapses. He doesn’t seem to be breathing and his eyes are glazed. The other guy whips out his phone and calls the emergency services. He gasps, “My friend is dead! What can I do?”. The operator says “Calm down. I can help. First, let’s make sure he’s dead.” There is a silence, then a shot is heard. Back on the phone, the guy says “OK, now what?” ---------------- An engineering student is walking along when a fellow student arrives on a new bicycle. Impressed, he asks, "Where did you got this beautiful bicycle?" "Well," the second engineering student says, "A couple of days ago I was just walking along when this gorgeous blonde pulls up, hops off the bike, rips off all her clothes, and says, "take what you want!" The other engineering student nods and says "Good choice. The clothes probably wouldn't have fit." ----------------- "My dad suggested I register for a donor card, he's a man after my own heart.” "Why is it old people say "there's no place like home", yet when you put them in one…" I hate double standards. Why is it that if I have sex with loads of women I’m a player but if a woman does it she’s a lesbian? People who use selfie sticks really need to have a good, long look at themselves. How do you know if someone’s a vegan? They’ll tell you. My fat is a bit like Kim Kardashian. You just can’t get rid of it. I proposed in a restaurant that was playing Neil Diamond. Perfect, in hindsight, as his name is also a brief set of instructions for making a successful proposal. ----------------- A customer walks into a pharmacy and asks assistant for an anal deodorant. The assistant explains that they don't stock them. The man insists that he bought his last one from this store. The assistant passes man on to the pharmacist, who explains that store has never stocked such an item. The man explains he bought his last one from this store only weeks ago and has done for several years. The pharmacist asks man to bring in his last purchase and he will try to match the product. The following day, the man returns to the pharmacy and shows the deodorant to the pharmacist. The pharmacist asks why the customer thinks this is an anal deodorant, when it is obviously of the underarm stick variety. The customer explains that instructions on reverse state, "Push up bottom to use." Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
