We have officially lost our collective minds. “Every classroom has been equipped with a five-gallon bucket of river stone,” Helsel explained about his Blue Mountain School District in Schuylkill County, northeast of Harrisburg, in a video broadcast by ABC affiliate 16 WNEP. “If an armed intruder attempts to gain entrance into any of our classrooms, they will face a classroom full of students armed with rocks, and they will be stoned.” https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/grade-point/wp/2018/03/23/this-school-districts-plan-to-stop-shooters-a-bucket-of-rocks-for-students-to-throw-at-them/?utm_term=.e68510f7fcb2 Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Bill signed yesterday: The Fix NICS Act, which modestly improves the existing gun background-check system, plus a provision instructing the Centers for Disease Control that it is free to conduct research on gun violence. Such research was effectively stopped in 1996. This is an offshoot of a conversation we had about a month ago regarding One America News. It's not called news anymore, Bill. Now. they call it "opinion programming." Per that discussion; I removed all cable from Uverse and now only use the internet connection and rely on Google newsfeeds. The plus side is saving ~$200.00/month for just internet. From the land of Rickles, Youngman & Groucho Marx. A list of top one-liners that crack me up. Today at the bank, an old lady asked me to help check her balance. So I pushed her over. I bought some shoes from a drug dealer. I don't know what he laced them with, but I've been tripping all day. I told my girlfriend she drew her eyebrows too high. She seemed surprised. My dog used to chase people on a bike a lot. It got so bad, finally I had to take his bike away. I'm so good at sleeping. I can do it with my eyes closed. My boss told me to have a good day.. so I went home. Why is Peter Pan always flying? He neverlands. A woman walks into a library and asked if they had any books about paranoia. The librarian says "They're right behind you!" The other day, my wife asked me to pass her lipstick, but I accidentally passed her a glue stick. She still isn't talking to me. I know a lot of jokes about unemployed people but none of them work. My wife accused me of being immature. I told her to get out of my fort. Wow. Great journalism. And, people wonder why I'm not on social media. Well, except here and we were here long before the term "social media" existed (I think). Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. -
I should have wrote back, "That the spirit, mate." You pretty much nailed it. That was fun. What do we take on next? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Good question. Yeah. I know What happened to him then? After three days; he arose and went to Heaven. To sit at the right hand of God. You're just fucking with me now, huh. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Because, I read? Psalm 139:7–12, in which David says, "Where shall I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!" Sheol is a transliteration of a Hebrew noun that means “the grave” or “the place of the dead.” Thessalonians 1:7–9 says that those who do not know God “will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might.” In Revelation 14:10 - he also will drink the wine of God’s wrath, poured full strength into the cup of his anger, and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. ("presence" is a literal translation of the Greek enopion, which means "in the presence of, before). The Bible’s truths have to be shown to a person by God - Psalms 25:14 tells of one reason many have a hard time grasping the truths from the preserved Word of God as found in the King James Bible: “The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.” Many do not understand God’s Word because it is secret and can only be shown to a person by God. Read as; you're not part of the secret society 8.6766×10 to the 49th power. Hope that helps. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Wait just one cotton picking moment there. Now I'm confused. First I hear that if I don't conform I will suffer in Hell for eternity. Now you are telling me that death is the penalty. What is it really? Execution or hard time forever? You religious people just can't seem to get your story straight. The whole verse reads as: "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." What it means is that after death; the wages of sin are darkness. Darkness/Hell being dead and in the absence of God for all eternity. Light/Heaven being dead and in the presence of God for all eternity. How about child shootings period. According to a 2017 report in the medical journal Pediatrics, firearms-related injuries are the third leading cause of death for children between the ages of 1 and 17 in the United States. From 2012 to 2014, an average of 1,297 children in the United States died each year from a firearm-related injury, the study showed. Analyzing data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, The Post’s editorial board found that “on average, 23 children were shot each day in the United States in 2015. Of the approximately 8,400 shootings, 1,458 were fatal, a death toll that exceeds the entire number of U.S. military fatalities in Afghanistan this decade.” SOURCE: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/true-crime/wp/2018/03/19/a-9-year-old-wanted-the-video-game-controller-from-his-sister-so-he-shot-her-police-say/?utm_term=.e242efdfb79f Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

With all the discussions in other threads about city crime; this popped up on my newsfeed this morning. These are the U.S. cities with the highest rates of violent crime in 2016, the most recent year available from the FBI. There's a hyperlink to the FBI 2016 down below on the first page which is in alphabetic order. But, you can download it in Excel format to filter. https://www.cbsnews.com/pictures/the-most-dangerous-cities-in-america/ Note: Chicago is 24th. Detroit is 1st. Out of curiosity; I looked at some of the information on that keyboard (looking to get one/similar myself). I don't know why its not connecting or the PIN issue involved. The YouTube Videos make it appear relatively easy. And, the only thing found on the support site might be: The K380 keyboard isn't compatible with a Logitech Unifying receiver, which uses Logitech Unifying wireless technology. The support site also suggests that a lot of interference from other devices could be an issue. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

I agree. Hence, the one month paid leave. But, it doesn't sound as though that's the case here. I've bent over backwards for employees and in the end, in each case, it came back to bite me on the arse. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
