Does anyone know how to get in touch with JC? His commo just quit. PM's included. Welfare check if you can, please.

Whereas, I don't know how much time you've spent as a National Incident Commander not only in Disaster Response, but Emergency Response - including the killing of tens of thousands of chickens ahead of the H1N1 - What I quoted is exactly right and if you don't believe me; then call the CDC and ask any myriad of PhD's if the quote is correct. The US does not need another panic .

Except the 88 year old guy and he's like - fugedaboutit.

That's because Trump is part of the mob and everyone is really afraid that a horse's head will show up in their bed. At the bottom of the article- Another convicted assessor, Joe Iovino, said he “did not know of any Trump Properties” paying bribes. The remaining living assessors either declined to comment or did not respond to multiple requests for interviews. I mean, thinkkabout it - everyone Trump knows last name ends in an "O" or "I" Must be some connection with the mob.

"The designation of low or highly pathogenic avian influenza refers to the potential for these viruses to kill chickens," the USGS website says. "The designation of "low pathogenic" or "highly pathogenic" does not refer to how infectious the viruses may be to humans, other mammals, or other species of birds." Per the United States Geological Survey, the bird flu is deemed "high pathogenic" based on its ability to kill birds.

Safe to assume s/he's using a revenue method to sell the business rather than a profit multiplier? -
But, you made me shit myself when you said 20%

"The products include teas, essential oils, tinctures and colloidal silver, which have been cited as not safe or effective for treating any disease, the agency said in a statement with the Federal Trade Commission." This reminds me of an old snake oil recipe that was called some kind of "Vinegar" back in the 1800's. I forget the name of it, but the ingredients were about the same.

"They said" the news . . . I watch the same news you do and on both sides.

We're not talking about micromanaging. We're talking about a strategic plan. And yes, the strategic plan is flexible.

Until this event, I really didn't know how many people that weren't aware of this either. I'm not defending Trump on this - I've just been a little flabbergasted at how many think it's a 3-7 day sick and didn't know the number of deaths. You would think that with as many people that are on the internet - they would have learned something. Had a conversation the other day - they said, "You can't just use soap & water; the news says you have to use hand sanitizer." Me: What do you think we used before someone thought that hand sanitizer was a good idea? All of this buying frenzy would stop if the media was as forthright about the effectiveness of soap & water vs. hand sanitizers. What astounds me is the run on toilet paper (no pun intended). Shopping the other day - "Excuse me, why did you buy two grocery carts of bottled water?" We might run out!! Do you not have a water faucet at home? Answer; "The coronavirus lives in the water." If there really is an apocalyptic event . . .
-
Uh huh. I'm sure that's how you run your business.
-
I am not even buying that. Too many on here have said it's like,"Highways, FAA, etc." It is a science. And, when you're talking about using taxpayer dollars - most of the middle & upper class are smart enough to see and endorse something logical. Keeping things vague is not in the interest of transparency.
-
I'm not sure how we segued into a conversation on poverty. I don't give Ms. Hutchison much credibility. She lost me at, "I've had to go hungry and miss a meal, so my kids can have seconds." And, to your point - how does one levy additional fees on the poor who are smokers, etc. I like Bill's thoughts about Sin taxes. Back to my point. If memory serves - you're a project manager. Have you ever done a multi-million dollar project without having a project plan, project budget, used managerial accounting techniques to forecast it's financial success, Gantt Charts, PERT diagrams, operations plans etc. etc. That's all I'm asking for is a type of project plan that's a transition plan. I can get behind something that is pragmatic, but what I won't get behind is a visionary statement and a cheerleading team with no substance..

And, your entire premise is wrong out of the gate. The real issue is "administrative & BIR" costs on the hospital's and insurance companies' balance sheets. There's your $1T. You address me as though I'm against Universal Healthcare - I am not. I would like to see a real transition plan and not another failed ACA attempt. There is no plan other than the usual democratic - we'll pay for it by raising taxes. The only way for that to happen is to increase the income tax to over 50%. I take exception to having to pay out that much in taxes for people that smoke, drink too much, eat fast food, take illicit drugs or the other lifestyle choices that are a burden on hospitals and healthcare. You look around at any dropzone - don't you find it silly that people can find money to skydive, but can't find the money for a health insurance plan?
-
Phil - this is good. Let me look it over a bit, please.
-
I do not. I; like Jerry am quite satisfied with my health care. But, when others start talking about taxing everyone without a plan in place - that causes me concern. The Canadian model causes me concern - see attachment. price-of-public-health-care-insurance-2018.pdf
-
I did no such thing.
-
Evidently, you don't have a plan either. Lotta words, Joe. But, all I'm hearing is "we want free."
-
Why would they endorse a program to their representatives when they can already afford health care?
