‘Jane Roe’ Says Turn to Anti-Abortion Activism Was ‘All an Act’
BIGUN replied to kallend's topic in Speakers Corner
That is just wrong on so many levels. -
From that study and report: "All patients received azithromycin, and the frequency of oseltamivir use was 86.8% (33 of 38) and 92.5% (37 of 40) in the low- and high-dosage groups, respectively." The NIH is launching a study using just low dose HCQ for prevention in early stage C-19 (SARS-CoV-2)
-
Yes, sir, this is true. Unfortunately, I believe that was the 800+200 mg +Zpak and it was devastating. The study involved 368 patients with confirmed cases of COVID-19 treated at the VA and they found there were more deaths among those given HCQ than those receiving standard care.

Those are the "On rare occasions.." You do know they give this drug to all kinds of people from varying age brackets and conditions. You do know that when a study is done - if anything happens during the study, they have to list it as a possible side effect. Yes. You are hyper-inflating. Alluding that the President is going to go all bat shit and hallucinate his way into suicide. He's taking a very low dose. Relax., Have a drink.
-
Everything you posted is from 6-8 weeks ago and is why I quit talking about it. What I posted today was from - TODAY. The final report on the study will be out on the 30th. Please take a different look at low dose HCQ+ Zinc, not keep throwing the same stuff at me about High Dose HCQ+AZ. This is a different study, it is more recent.
-
He is taking a low dose. There's no reason to hyper-inflate the side effects. They are minimal and he's under a constant medical eye.
-
I'm sorry, but you are mistaken.
-
I would encourage you to read WebMD's list of side effects in low doses of HCQ.
-
Mary is a journalist; not a doctor. She writes about a lot of left issues including climate change. As to your two studies and those of Bill's - they are last month's information regarding high-dose HCQ+AZ. The study I posted was more recent and was about low dose HCQ+ZInc. I posted the fourth of Bill's citations last month and he is correct that the fifth citation led to the fourth's withdrawal. I do wonder if the IJAA's position resulted in the subsequent study that Mary wrote about. I would appreciate if we didn't do this.
-
Relax. I'm sure it's the blue pill.
-
If you rely on science for climate change; then perhaps you have some science that opposes HCQ+ZInc and a source for me to read.

In a worldwide review, the World Health Organization linked five cardiac deaths to hydroxychloroquine, most tied to overdose or prolonged use. Similarly, a new study [ATTACHED] of nearly 1 million HCQ users in six countries concluded, “Short-term hydroxychloroquine treatment is safe.” The American College of Cardiology concluded, as did the American Association of Physicians and Surgeons, that hydroxychloroquine’s “risk may be smaller than the potential benefit.” Two New Jersey physicians’ groups want the freedom to prescribe prophylactically, as Trump is doing, and in early suspected cases. A similar petition by French doctors has 400,000 signatures so far. The available evidence, while not universal, suggests hydroxychloroquine helps resolve COVID. In Manhattan, NYU Langone Medical Center saw death rates drop by nearly half when zinc was added to HCQ and azithromycin, possibly enhancing the virus’ elimination. In France, fewer than 1% of patients on HCQ and azithromycin died. Studies in China, Spain and Brazil have also shown success. It’s not so much about “Trump” as it is about being a Republican and its assault on the institution as a whole. You'll note I haven't been as engaged on here as before. We’ve all been around long enough to know that everything is cyclical. At no time during Obama’s era did you hear me say any of the vile things that you guys are saying now. Never called you an Obamette, uneducated, or the litany of other expletives directed at some’s value system as a whole. Never heard me say, “Piss on his grave, anyone with a thinking brain, if my guy was guilty of raping 47 women . . .etc.” I think the worst you’ve heard me say is, “I hate Hillary.” And, I had strong reasons as to why, but those fell on deaf ears, never mind the facts, because she was just the right person for you guys at the time. But again; I did not attack you personally as being uneducated, or hope to live long enough to piss on her grave. She represented your institution and philosophy. Even if she had won, in time, she too would have been voted out or left the office. I have sided with you guys on gun control and yet; you completely ignored the tactical point of “Well-regulated” and the ammunition I served up for your side to become more successful in your campaigns towards gun control. And, your battle cry remained “Ban.” Never mind that a fork or a baseball bat can be an assault weapon. I guess I’m fortunate enough to have been in weapons long enough to know that we shouldn’t be scared of the tool as much as the person wielding that tool. That is the real issue. We differed in opinion on healthcare, not so much on the point itself, but its deployment. We have a “social” healthcare system in the U.S. It’s called the VA. It can be a lifesaver at times but is fraught with process issues. My point has always been – “Fix that” and then you have a model to point to and say – it works. Until graduates of John Hopkins or any of the other prestigious medical schools have graduates applying to work at the VA; then something is wrong. Until they can excel in research as much as other institutions, then something is wrong. Until they can perform a live-saving cardio-thoracic surgery or even a knee replacement without farming it out to the private sector; then something is wrong. Due to education on this site; I changed my views on “Climate Change” to the point that I can’t even read the age-old thread without throwing up my hands and thinking even one of my own doesn’t get it. The environment here has changed so much that things that would have used to get you a ban doesn’t even merit a “One warning” anymore no matter which side. The value on here has degenerated from us knowing each other and having some modicum of respect to become another faceless soul on the internet left to defending personal attacks on one’s value system and if you don’t believe in their way; you must be an idiot. Well, this idiot is done with the verbal lashings that would be considered anywhere else other than the Internet to be - verbal assault. The US is a Banana Republic. Give me a break. There was a time when no matter what side you were on; we were patriotic enough to have shut that down; rather than amplify it. Trump? Well, there is a lot of people that believe he is right about one thing. We, as a nation; have to do something more about producing & manufacturing more goods here in the U.S than we do movies and fast-food franchises. That we shouldn’t be doing “business” with a communist country, much less have our entire supply steam interrupted. If that in of itself does not give us a wake-up call, then there are those of us that do believe we are doomed and our whole way of life jeopardized. That industry has to change to provide more jobs for the middle-class. That the middle-class is the backbone of this country. One cannot continue to complain about the inequities of wealth while not championing the need for more well-paying jobs that are based on production and competition, rather than legislation to increase the minimum wage. That used to be one of the primary tenets of the Democratic party. You know. The whole FDR thing of creating work programs, to produce, to give people pride in a work ethic. A lot of Americans believe the world needs to be a level playing field. If we are to lose jobs (entire industries) in steel, coal, cotton, aluminum, technology, automobiles (Harley for God’s sake) etc. or whatever because of EPA standards, then those same standards need to apply to the rest of the world. And, when people buy products from a communist country that have any of those elements that used to be “Made in America,” they get angry. Especially, if they or a member of their family lost their jobs in that industry. California alone has lost almost a million middle-class jobs to China. To hope that our children learn to respect and honor Veterans, Firefighters, and the like and to “follow” them rather than the Kardashians or Justin Beibers. Hell, most kids these days can tell you the exact location of a Kardashian in Wyoming, but cannot locate Belize on a map of Central America. Trump may not be the man, but he does represent the sentiment. I may not like or agree with the man on all things, but I do know that he is the only one saying these things – and, that’s what America wants to hear. That is why he has the base he does. But, I ramble. I guess I am left with some wonderful memories of times spent with Nigel, Wendy, Bill, Wendy, Turtlespeed, et.al. But, it is just memories and not a reflection of the interactions on here. Peace.

And, we used to respect each other for our differences. Many times it was an atmosphere of learning and open discussion. It was a time when getting close to those allegations were met with "Your one warning."

Should Biden Get the Nomination in Light of an Apparent Sexual Assault
BIGUN replied to DJL's topic in Speakers Corner
And, there you have it. The sanctimonious hypocrisy of the left in one sentence. -
Randy was one of those guys you wanted to spend more time with other than the DZ. His zest for life, his fun-loving nature. We lost a great ambassador for the sport. My respect & condolences to family & close friends.

Good Morning, Masone. I'm not sure your going to get a lot of answers on here and those that do are all probably going to say, "You should check with your healthcare professional about this, not get information from an anonymous source on the Internet."

I'm calling it a night, Brother. Sleep well. Love ya.

Yeah, I got that in the other thread and replied there.

That may be what he says, but that doesn't make it true. He's a lobbyist. I dunno. We may have to see how this shakes out, because in my experience guys like him wind up out of business or in jail

I see what you did there. :)

I've never really understood when the left stands on their soapbox and says this - everything is about making money. You, me, Joe, All of us are motivated by money. Even Gowlerk has a piece of a dropzone - all in the interest of making more money. Now, if you're talking about profiteering, that's different. But, it's not what you're saying.
-
Well, you don't have any source citations and a search doesn't reveal anything. Having said that, you'd be surprised at the number of people who see dollars during a disaster. I've had my share of newly formed ice & water distributors. Believe it or not - both need to be certified thru the GSA Process. In this case, someone pops up a newly formed N95 mask company - how are the masks certified? There is a process. When 3M & Honeywell can't ramp up fast enough to snap their fingers and produce 300 Million masks - you can be a newly formed distributor of anything, but if there's nothing to distribute . . . Just one of the many "newly formed" that will be dissolved as soon as this slows down.

"I know a lot more about it than I did a few days ago." Which means that you don't know shit from a good grade of peanut butter about it today. When Mr. Fugate says: We may disagree on a lot of things on here, but not this. I have stood on the front lines of some of our nations largest disasters with Charles Hagan III & Mr. Craig Fugate. Mr. Fugate is one of the most apolitical people you could ever meet - whose sole interest is the job of disaster response. There are no men that everyone in disaster response respect more the Craig and Chuck. Craig & Chuck have worked for and with both sides of the political aisle.
