Yes, it was a pleasure to meet ya Billy -- the boogie just went by so damn fast! I wish we had more time to do some more jumping together! I think I managed 14 jumps in all -- 3 from that Huey! Too bad we got rained out the last day! And I'm already looking foward to seeing your video! I wish you could see the video Tim shot when he was freeflying from the Huey, and ended up landing way upon the mountain!!! Did you know there were 3 reserve rides Sunday, plus a cypress firing?!? For the record, I pack for myself, and I enjoy it! I won't use a packer unless something changes... as far as learning to pack, several people offered me lots of help as I was learning -- and I will do the same as my experience increases. And tipping? I'll tip at a restaurant, but no where else. I don't get tipped for the work I do... I figure tipping is for people who are underpaid by their employer... I shared a motorhome with favaks this past weekend at the Kamloops boogie... 174fps was there, too, and I jumped from the Huey with Billy. I met Tee last year, and Gale is from my home DZ. But I'd sure like to meet and jump with a whole lot more of you! "There's nothing new under the sun"

Thanks for saying that! Although I've only met 4 of the other people who post here, I kinda feel like we are all friends ... sure, we argue over stuff, and some of us even insult each other now and then, but when ya get right down to it, we need to look after each other -- and if one of us is suffering, then I certainly feel like I want to offer any help I can, even if it is just a few gentle words. School does not suck! How long are you there for??? Compared to how long you will have a job - school is just a brief period. I went to college for 2 years, and graduated 19 years ago. If I hadn't ploughed through college, I would NEVER have achieved the success I have in my career. Get over your boredom, and get to work. It'll pay off big time for the rest of your life! Sorry to hear all the bad news, man. But I really think it is a bull-shit business that won't give you a refund when you haven't taken delivery of their services. Note to self: never visit THAT dropzone... Anyway, Muenkel, hang in there, and don't give up on skydiving! If you WANT to skydive, then you will find a way. The skygods are NOT telling you to stay outta the air. Getting up and jumping will help clear all the bad stuff out of your mind for a while. "There's nothing new under the sun"

You have proven that if you get screwed by a company, you have to go right to the people who can make it better, rather than some poor slob who just answers the phone for a living. Ya, that's bloody awful, Michele. Some friends of mine have had credit card theft happen to them 3 times! Each in a different manner. Was was giving their credit card number to a business over the phone! Lesson here? NEVER give your credit card numbers out over the phone or the internet. You have no idea who the person is who is taking down the info. At least at a business, you see the face and can ask the name of the person who you are doing business with! I hope you can get it all straightened out, Michele. Life is tough enough without all that shit to dal with... "There's nothing new under the sun"

As mentioned in another thread, I'm catching a ride to the Kamloops 35th Annual May Meet in the twin otter from Kapowsin (it's picking a bunch of us up on the way there) on Friday, jumping in to the boogie, then returning home Monday evening, jumping back in to my home dz. 4 days of nothin' but eat, sleep, drink, and skydive!!! Should have pix to post of Billy, Favaks, 174fps, and any other DZ.comers who show up in their t-shirts! We'll be jumping the super twin-otter, a king air, casa, and a helicopter, plus assorted smaller aircraft. "There's nothing new under the sun"
