Oh -- Oh!! Me MeMeMe!!! I have a shoe story!! 2 2-ways in the c-182... we're out first, the other guys out next -- well my buddy's left foot slips down between the wheel and the step, and when it pulls his foot back, it slips outta the shoe! ... he lands under canopy in our very damp/muddy farmer's field -- wearing just one shoe, and the pilot has to radio the control tower saying he's "got a shoe stuck in the wheel". The tower asks back "is it a brake shoe?" -- and the pilot says back "no - it's a nike". He lands the plane ok, and even grabs the shoe off the runway where it popped out. Crazy shit can happen anywhere!!! "There's nothing new under the sun"

Bill, all these "little gods" need to originate somewhere ... and that requires a divine creator. And if that is not the case, perhaps someone like Bill Gates is the acting "god of software", and George Bush is "god of weapons" ... Anyway, how would we -- or perhaps, to be more specific -- people who believe in a god, define the line between extraterrestial intellegence and god? If "god" didn't create the universe, then god ain't god ... he/she is an alien! (Not that there's anything wrong with that!) I'm enjoying this friendly discussion!
