hehe...that's the cool part! You might only get to do it once, but whoooo, what a ride! Killing threads since 2004.

This made for a much better day for me! We were burning about 500 acres on a city preserve and in the past burning in that area has resulted in piles of media attention, which means tons of people showing up at the site of the fire and getting in the way. This little mess with the birds kept the media busy and we just fired away with no interruption! The people assigned to go deal with media if they showed up never even had to be called off the fire! Not sure how this kind of stuff is setup over there, but in the US I would say write a letter of complaint to the Better Business Bureau and to the State Attorney General including your timeline that you just stated here. In my past situation like this I wrote a letter to both, copying the president of the company I was complaining about. The Attorney General's office then responded that they would investigate and copied that letter to the company president also. I don't believe the investigation ever happened. I got the offer for a full refund shortly after the letter from the attorney general's office was received. It's worth a try. My situation was significantly less expensive than a car, but I did get a full purchase price refund on a 5 year old computer. Killing threads since 2004.

I think I'm usually pretty much the same. Fairly quiet, but can be talkative (and often pretty sarcastic) with people I'm comfortable around. I tend to take in what is happening around me and choose the moments I care to interject myself. I don't really spend time online when I'm drunk, so who knows whether I'm the same when drinking! Have you ever jerked-off to the lingrie section of the Sears catalog???
FlyingJ replied to stitch's topic in The Bonfire
Yes, but which does she prefer? I dont know, never really asked. As long as i get off. That's what dildos are for right. Shoot your load then hand the toy over so you can get some sleep Right, and when she disagrees you knock her over the head with it and tell everyone she fell off her bike? After a recent move I came across a Son House cd that had gone missing during a move a few years ago. Just ripped it and added it to my ipod. That's some great music when I'm out on the tractor. Killing threads since 2004.

So, what's your favorite swear word? NSFW - probably ok at work if you just put some headphones on! Killing threads since 2004.

Holy crap! My jaw would have been dropping at any 10 sec. clip of that. Killing threads since 2004.

Post Links to Videos that Nobody should Ever Watch...
FlyingJ replied to waltappel's topic in The Bonfire
I am simply thankful that it was a picture and not a video. I prefer the bit of vomit that made it to my mouth to the projectile stream that would likely have resulted from a video. Kudos to you, sir. Killing threads since 2004. -
That musta been one hell of a set of beer goggles you had on! Killing threads since 2004.

hehe...best description I've ever heard! Wish I had heard that while I still worked with a pug obsessed co-worker. Killing threads since 2004.

I second that. I lived in a 30ft travel trailer for the last two years. I spent about two weeks of every month camping for work and people always wondered why I didn't just tow my trailer to where I was working. Cause it's a freakin' pain in the ass! It was a nice deal for a couple years. It got totaled out because of water damage from a leak and in the end, with my loan paid off by insurance I had spent a grand total of $630 for a place to live for the last two years. Woo hoo! Lesson learned - 30 ft. seems great, but if you actually plan on moving it, the extra space isn't worth the weight/hassle! Killing threads since 2004.

I was just browsing REI's site and saw this tent: http://www.rei.com/webservices/rei/DisplayStyle/717497?source=9039 I cringed when I saw the weight, in fact, I think I would cringe at seeing something 1/3rd the weight, but it sounds like you aren't concerned with that. REI has a lifetime satisfaction guarantee on everything they sell. Might be a little expensive to start with, but it's guaranteed for life. If you ever do any other shopping there it's worth it to become a member and get back a dividend on everything you spend as well. Killing threads since 2004.

That clip is kind of cool. In one of my music theory classes in college there were several similar demonstrations made showing how many current songs are based on one "tune" from the past. It was amazing just how much "new" music really isn't completely original at all! Kind of like explaining to my teenage cousin that Gwen Stefani's "rich man" song has some history! Not sure how much stuff you need to move, but if it could fit in a trailer check out the classifieds around base. On one of my previous moves I found it to be more cost effective to just buy an enclosed utility trailer to move and store my stuff in. I'm still using it for storage rather than renting a storage unit, but at any time I could sell it. Worth checking out! I bought mine from a guy being sent overseas from Eglin AFB who just wanted to unload it quickly. Killing threads since 2004.

This isn't an online resource, but "Stretching" by Bob Anderson is an amazing book. Their website is www.stretching.com. In addition to piles of basic stretching instruction and suggestions in regard to flexibility and basic health it also has sections dedicated to activity specific stretches. They range from most basic sports to things as seemingly mundane as sitting at a computer all day. The book was actually suggested to me by my therapist when I injured my back kayaking and it has been an amazing resource ever since. Don't get turned off by all the other stuff they try to sell (videos, equipment, etc.). The book sold well and they branched out to sell pretty much anything else people would purchase. The book is worth it! Killing threads since 2004.
