The PT Cruiser and the Ped were both crossing against a red light. The pedestrian probably would have been nailed by the car as it was....

Costa Rica is amazing. I did a backpacking trip several years through Corcovado NP...through primary rainforest to a black sand beach. Rincon de la Vieja NP is another great place in Costa...it is essentially a mini Yellowstone with active guysers, hot springs, and and an active volcano all set in a rainforest.

I absoloutely second both of those! The most amazing experience of my life was a rafting trip through the Grand Canyon. It was 18 days and 225 miles of the most amazing place I have ever been. It definatly changed me. Like NWFlyer said, the Middle Fork of the Salmon is an amazing river too!! If you can't get the 18 days to run the grand, come to Colorado and go rafting! It's been a great snow year here, and the rivers should be high all summer!! Drop me a PM if you want more info....I guided for 6 years and I can give you the scoup on where to go and when.

I'm at home as the late spring snow comes down outside. My plans for the weekend were either to go skydiving or rafting or both, however this snow kinda puts a damper on both of those plans. I am happy to be relaxing after having worked 10 days in a row. I am doing laundry and dishes, cleaning my room and helping my roommate install new shock adsorbers onto his car. I may go and get a haircut later, but I may put it off for tommorow. It's a lazy weekend here in Colorado

I'm hoping someone on here has experience with writing ArcView scripts. I need to write a script that queries a table for id numbers that match id numbers located in a text file. Can anyone help?

I think I have a new answer for the "what's the worst mal?" thread. -
Have you tried rebooting? I had similar problems just now and rebooting fixed it. If you have automatic updates turned on, I believe that there was a windows XP update run today and I think this may have had something to do with it. Or maybe it's just comcast...

Cheap, lightweight and easy to construct is half paper towel / toilet paper rolls. You can make cuts near the top of half rolls to get them to bend. For support, I would use either balsa wood or even rolled up paper in an A-Frame, suspending the track underneath. You could use a styrofoam base to get the supports to stick and hold well. I would put the loop first followed by the series of hills. The marble will have to start on the top of a hill which is higher than the overall height of the loop.

I thought he looked like an amstaff...my roommate has an amstaff, she's great! She is probably one of the more affectionate and loving dogs I've ever been around.

Make SURE it has the closing loop mod required by Sunpath Mandatory Service Bulletin - SPSB03032000. I recently turned away a rig without this mod.

wow. Glad to see he is okay. You really gotta be careful out there...there are so many people who drive while talking on cell phones, looking at their I-pod, changing radio stations, putting on makeup, eating a big mac, or doing everything but paying attention to where their SUV is going. Hope your son has a speedy recovery.
