    Weekend Numbers

5:2:0 Got to spend the entire weekend with my honey and my son.. It was great!!
  6. First of all I people giving me shit is nothing.. It doesn't bother me in the slightest. I didn't start this thread concerning me at all.. I made a simple statement as to talking shit about people.. Personally I don't care what you think of me.. This isn't about me this is about skydivers exercising a little bit of good judgement when it comes to running off at the mouth about other skydivers. Constructive criticism is fine but shit talking about broken bones is not. I don't really care if ANYONE agrees. If you see someone doing something wrong then do what you can to get them in the right direction.. Others wise keep your own mouth shut and look in the mirror every once in a while Rhino
  7. Actually I get advise on a regular basis from Hook, and I use to pick Charlie Mullins brain.. I am teachable but only by those why are where I want to be. If you can't hit a golf ball as good as I can you have no business trying to give me lessons.. Blue Skies ..... Whatever.. This isn't about me.. Predictions are fine.. Predict to yourself of help someone so your prediction dosn't come true.. Or at least you can say you tried to help.. Bottom line... Enough SHIT TALKING... Constructive criticism is one thing bad ju ju is another..
  8. It will work for me... I am the safest canopy pilot I know.. I have no urge to put my knees in the ground and I VIVIDLY remember what it feels like.
  9. Agreed... Just saying lets not wish broken bones on each other is all.. Blue Skies .....
  10. If those same people were skilled enough to make that statement then they should be teaching not judging someone into the ground.. A little good form would be nice where that is concerned.. Don't you agree?? Rhino Blue Skies ..... free::: Is he a good pilot? Is he picking the brain of the best swoopers and learning from the best? Maybe everyone should let him fly?? I mean?? If he is good?? I am with you.. I don't want anyone to get hurt either.. Like Hook said, I hope ALL of our bags of experience fill up before our bag of luck runs out.. L= Labor U= Under C= Correct K= Knowledge You can make your own luck my doing your homework and practicing.. Tiger Woods is the luckiest golfer I have ever seen..
  11. Saying he is an idiot is one thing.. But saying he is going to break his leg in the next day or so is b.s. I'm with you.. I don't fly around idiots either.. That is the choice we have but putting yourself in a higher "risk category" is your choice and yours alone, concerning small canopies for example.. The fact of life is you usually get what you speak. You don't like people saying jfields is going to break his leg this week you can bet on it, so don't do it to others that is all I am saying.. I'm not saying you did just using an example. There is nothing wrong with teaching these so called idiots so they can live longer and not hurt the rest of us that aren't dangerous.. Just don't speak bad physical misshaps on others. Rhino Blue Skies ..... Free::: No one??? That is a bold statement.. With my whopping 300 jumps I happen to LOVE THE SHIT OUT OF MY CROSSFIRE2, 97 loaded at 1.85. I am not going to hurt myself.. And anyone who speaks that on me can kiss my ass...
  12. LOL You guys crack me up.. lol Blue Skies .....
  13. o.k. I have heard one too many times people saying so and so is going to break bones because he is on too small of a canopy for 300 jumps.. Whatever.. No one said this to me just in general.. If you don't have confidence in yourself that is fine, but don't go telling people that THEY WILL GET HURT it's just a matter of time.. That's bullshit.. That is bad form and shit talk at it's best.. Each and every one of us knows the inherent risks involved in whatever facet of skydiving we are in.. If you have 300 jumps and you have done your homework and you are a good pilot then it is your choice if you want to load a canopy above 2.0.. Bad form... Enough bad shit is happening to our fellow brothers and sisters without us speaking more bad shit on them. Speak onto others what you want spoken onto you and if you feel like criticizing someone the best place to start is in the mirror.. My rant is over... I hope no one gets hurt. I wish everyone no matter how aggressive they are nothing but fun and excitement.. Be safe.. Rhino Blue Skies .....
  14. Guys.... We shouldn't speak about expecting others to break bones.. Bad form..... Maybe he is better at 300 jumps than most pilots at 1000 jumps.. It is possible you know.. Don't let numbers fool you as to ones skill. Anyone who skydives knows the risks and can jump any damn thing they want to if they can get their hands on it. It's your choice and no one elses.. Get use to it.. Instead of bagging these "myself included" canopy pilots that are more aggressive "with lower jump numbers" maybe we should be wishing them the best in what they are looking for instead of talking broken bones at them.. Rhino Blue Skies .....
  15. God bless you Robin!!! I wish you a speedy, full, permanent recovery!!! Rhino Blue Skies .....

    OOOH SHIT!!!

If you know your own gear that shouldn't have happened.. You should allways inspect your rig when you get it back from the rigger just in case. "The only way I could have found the mistake myself was to have pulled the pin, removed the D-bag and inspect the assembling." That is exactly what you should have done to insure your safety and the safety of other skydivers around you. Learn from this young Jedi..
  17. I think it is cooler with 2 z's.. lol
  18. How do you become a canopy nazzi? I wanna be a canopy nazzi
  19. Crossfire2, 97 at 1.85 I have posted it before, I'll post again in case anyone missed it.. I now have 15 jumps on my new crossfire2. Compared to the crossfire1-109 and the Diablo110 "what I thought was the fastest turning canopy alive" The cfire2 is going to suprise people that have flown the original crossfire. Is is definitely better than the original. It turns faster than the Diablo or original crossfire. Recovery arc is much longer Response in every facet of flight is faster Front riser pressure is lighter Comes around the corner faster when forced Crossfire2 has a very VERY slow stall speed, comparable to the Diablo. The bottom end is phenominal on the cfire2, I didn't have a problem with the crossfire1 but the Diablo's bottom end sucked. This canopy feels like it is on rails. It is the most controllable, solid canopy I have ever jumped. Don't loosen your chest strap and you might feel bumps that you otherwise wouldn't. This is an amazing canopy. The openings are very nice and getting more predictable with packing technique. Subterminal openings are a dream.. Very soft and easy.. The fact that this canopy sais ICARUS on it has absolutely nothing to do with the purchase. The crossfire2 is the best flying canopy I have ever seen. I have flown an fx also, I prefer the crossfire2 over the fx anyday, I also prefer it's flight characteristics over the Xaos as well. Hard to believe but neither really compare when it comes to sheer response time from input to canopy reaction. This thing is fast, very fast. Rhino Blue Skies .....
  20. I hope she is going to be o.k. Blue Skies .....
  21. I have a crossfire2.. It has a pretty wide control range actually.. More than the crossfire1 that I had.. Try one if you get a chance.. I am looking forward to trying a cobalt.. Blue Skies .....
  22. Kick ass pic!!! Blue Skies ..... Mama, That is when a full face helmet and a jumpsuit are really nice
