I guess personally I would immediately rent a rig and jump, a solo, concentrating on visually checking altitude and comparing that to what my altimeter says. Then I would quit for the day....and take some time away from the DZ to really think about what led to my Cypres fire and whether I need to quit. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

Ok...since I am still not skydiving due to illness...I will have to toot about something else... I got the perfect gifts for Skymedic for Christmas. I did pretty well for my Dad, also. (I would brag about what I got marc, but he stalks me and always reads my posts. ) ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

As a teacher I have two weeks off...as a sick person, i have til the niddle of January off... I am just glad that Skymedic (who was working every three days) turned in his resignation...his last day will be the 22nd.... (He was supposed to work Christmas...but thankfully he and his daughter will be here!!!

I currently reside with four animals... 1. A mutt of a dog...lab/chow is the best guess... Her name is Ruckus. She is about 50 pounds and a total sweetheart. 2. Black cat named Maximilian Bambini Pepperhead. He got thet name cuz I like Max as a name....Bambini came from his magician like ability to hide in the weirdest places, and Pepperhead cuz he has a few random white hairs right on top of his head and Salthead sounded dumb. 3. An orange tabby cat named Tazzy....but affectionately callet Fatso. We just weighed him...25 pounds. 4. A grey tabby with white named Koby. Affectionately called the Six Toed Little Freak. He actually has seven toes on each of his front paws and five on each of the back (cats are only supposed to have four on the back feet.) ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

I TOTALLY forgot about Zoom!!!! I used to LOVE that game.....I remember many a night at Lamda Chi....or at least I remember the beginning of many a night..... ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

HeeHee....my sister gave me plain old Jenga while I was in college ('95?) and we wrote on the pieces to create DRINKING jenga....with "take a drink" pieces, "give a drink" as well as several dare type things......I love that they now MAKE drinking Jenga and sell it as a family game. When I taught sixth graders, they played a card game called "Gofer"...the rules were EXACTLY the same as the drinking game I call "Asshole", except we didn't drink...it was just about the power and prestige of being president. It was hard not to laugh every time I played with them..... ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

I have two reserve rides...one on my Raven-M 181, and one on a PD 160R... I didn't land either all that well...the 181 was when I was not landing ANYTHING well.... The 160 was when I forgot to ask when size the reserve was on a demo rig....OOOPS....I won't make that mistake again.. I had to land that in a cornfield, off the windline so I was down one of the rows of plowed corn, with a whuffo running towards me screaming bloody murder....(he was my main land and thought there was a person with it.....) ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!! -

OK...I don't know when it came out, but the first movie I saw in a theatre was ET.....I must have been nine-ish??? I grew up on: The Sound of Music The Wizard of Oz My Fair Lady Those were all family events whenever they were shown on tv.....great family moments. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!! -
What I meant to say is.... I will join in the drinkin.... I am having a glass of wine because my friend is on her way over to discuss life issues.... I am having a glass of wine cuz chili party is only four days away. (even though it looks like my boyfriend won't make it.) I am having a glass of wine because I can afford to buy the people that I love gift this year, I am in one piece, and there is always hope about everything else. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

Hey all....are any of you midwestern kinda folk going to show up for Archway's Chili Party? It is Archway's biggest party of the year. I think th e jumps are $16...but I am not sure... People being chili (not a requirement....) and we all drink and eat....tons of fun.... There is usually enough nig-noggery to talk about for the following year....so...If you are anywhere near Illinois...You should join us. Marc and I have reserved a large room at the local hotel....We claim the pull-out bed, but there is a really big bed up for grabs, lots of chairs and floor room...and... A hot tub for all to enjoy....... ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

I am on nortriptyline for headaches, also, and my doc won't let me try anything else til I am off the percocet....that is why on Monday I am talking to my regular doc about other neurologist and other drugs I might try! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!
