Since I jump a well loved Sabre, I tend to pack for myself. Both my cutaways were on mains packed by someone else. That being said, I do sometimes ask Nate to pack for me. I get consistently good openings from him. Sometimes I just don't feel like packing again, ya know? ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

I think my fave was the Visa check card ad with Tiki and Rhonde Barber....It used to be all about how the check out chick couldn't tell that it was really Tiki on his ID....this time she looked at him and said, "Funny, you are watching the Super bowl and he is playing in it." ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

My mortgage payments go up every year because they include taxes and insurance. The actual money I am paying on the mortgage is the same, but the check I write goes up every year. Most people don't realize this before they buy a house. They also don't realize that the mortgage calculators that you can find on the internet usually do not take into consideration things like taxes and insurance. So if the calculator spits out a nice low number, don't get too excited until you talk to an actual loan officer who can give you a more realistic feel for what you would be paying. That being said, BUY. I love owning my own little house. I love walking around and caressing the doorknobs and the hinges (cuz I think that is all that I actually own at this point) I can do what ever I want, paint the walls, change the light fixtures, redo the bathroom, install new showerheads, install a new programmable thermostat, WHATEVER I WANT!!! It is so much fun! (Especially when Skymedic is the one doing all of the work ) ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

I tried to read everything stephen king ever wrote....got hung up on a couple of his books that I just cannot get through. the gunslinger books are killing me though. i have read all four of them the moment they have come out....and he is taking his sweet time getting the rest of them out!!!! he really killed me when he left the group on the train....AAAHHH!!!! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

Funny...the Bucs won their last game of the season...played in cold weather.... I hate stats like that.....how about the one that going into last weekend, Green Bay was undefeated in the playoffs when playing at home? (yeah....they LOST!!!!) Stats like that are essentially meaningless. I vote for Tampa....GREAT defense....Brad Johnson back...Tampa over the Raiders in the Superbowl. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

I retract my earlier nomination (still think Rhino is awesome !!!) and agree with Betsy...There are a lot of people here who contribute valuable things, each in their own way. Some people I appreciate for their knowledge. Others for their humor. Others for their stories. Others to remind me that my life isn't so bad. Each of them makes this place the great community that it is. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

I can only narrow it down to two.... 1. Beer hybrid that actually worked....Canopycudler and I on our bellies with Skymedic hanging underneath us....we nailed it right out of the door of the porter! 2. Understand? NO!! My father was proud after my first jump....for me having the "balls" to do it. He still doesn't understand why I feel the need to do it again and again..... My mom...I thought that she understood. She has learned a lot just by listening and asking questions. Someday I think she will make a tandem. Once I explained the whole reserve chute and AAD idea to her and told her how anal I am about safety, she chilled out a bit. Until the other night. We were talking about the possibility of me having kids one day (don't ask how THAT came up....) It truly never occured to her that I would continue jumping even after having children. Or that it would be ok with me if the father of my children continued jumping. My issue would be the time he might want to spend away from me and the kids, not the fact the he was jumping!!! I could literally see her head spinning!!! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

I agree with most of you....if there is something to be learned from other skydivers viewing the tape....then let them see it, preferable with proper narration/commentary about what I did wrong, or what I could have done differently. I would hate for my final moments to be sensationalized or to give skydiving a bad rap in the mass media..... ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

One of the things that Skymedic and I did to avoid the craziness of traffic in the main landing area was to land over by the spectator area. The locals loved seeing us land, always wanted to talk to us and have us autograph something, and the area was much less crowded than the main landing area.... Just a thought! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

1. WFFC...so many different people...so many different jump ships.... 2. Archway's Chili Party...quite a gathering of skydivers from around here and always a blast. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!
