Wilco was awesome....except they didn't play the one song i am totlaly crazy about...Heavy Metal Drummer....i was sad. I also got a bit frustrated with the encore thing....i don't understand playing a set, leaving the stage, then playing four more songs, leaving again, then playing 6 more songs. just take a break for 15 minutes in the middle....then play what you want to play. planned encores are just annoying. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

Yeah...St. Louis, where winning happens more than once every 100 years.... Good to see you here, Tomas! Even if you are a Cubs fan. This one was easy....NO WAY. I want to see my 10 year old grow up, to see the path that she chooses, to meet her children if she chooses to have them. I want to spend forever with Skymedic. Ten years is not long enough. I want to have children with Skymedic....and watch them grow up to be their own wonderful beings. One Billion dollars, or any amount of money cannot but any of this, only time can. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

Here are my thoughts.... Puppy: takes a lot of training to be a good dog, needs attention in the middle of the day...probably not your best bet right now. Dog: I think adopting a dog from a shelter is hit or miss....if a puppy is not properly socialized, it may not grow up to be a good dog.... Kittens: Very cute, take only a little training...good idea Cats: This is my vote for you...I adopted two adult cats from a shelter. I fell in love with the black one, but since they came into together, the shelter would only adopt them together, so I took the tabby. The tabby has turned out to be the best pet I have ever had. He is sweet, loves to cuddle, sleeps with me, and is playful. He also bit my lab mix dog on the ass the other day...funny as shit. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

Watching Luigi land his 39 square foot canopy. That was incredible. Realizing again that this sport rocks...after watching him land it, I talked to him for a bit at the beer tent that night....what other sport can you rub elbows with the superstars so easily?? Had breakfast at the same time as Don Kirlin the last morning....ended up chatting with him a bit.... Skymedic proposing... ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

Skymedic and I always land out there (if we can). I love the lack of traffic and the attention from the locals. I also like landing over there so they actually get to see some skydivers. I hate that the main landing area is out of sight for the locals....although I understand the set-up. I just wish there was a decent place to pack over there. Marc and I pack under a tent, but on grass. Not ideal, but not too bad. Ofter we had locals watching us pack and asking questions. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

The Proposal.... After every jump Marc and I do together, we gather our gear and walk towards each other and kiss. Smooching the man you love while still on a skydiving high is the greatest! So....we got to Rantoul on Wednesday, and there was crazy wind, so we didn't jump. Thursday morning, we got up and jumped the Pac750 xl. We landed in the spectator area. We both gathered our stuff, but instead of the usual kiss, Marc dropped to one knee and asked me to marry him. He even had a ring! I still don't know where that was during the jump! It was the perfect time for him to propose....after a skydive at the WFFC....my favorite place in the world. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

3 years ago: found dropzone.com 2.5 years ago: started PMing and then IMing Skymedic, a major post whore at the time.... 2 years ago: started dating Skymedic (and paid pimp fees then....) 4 days ago: accepted his proposal after our first jumps at Rantoul.

Ahh...the joys of living within driving distance.... Skymedic and I just fill my parents' van....and I mean fill it. I cannot imagine trying to pack conservatively or compactly...that would be tough!!! See you allthere...although not til a week from today!!! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

soft top for the true jeep experience...the heater is more then enough in the winter... the only annoying thing is that you can't lock anything in your car...like your rig or purchases during a day of shopping..... ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!
