    Well...Skymedic is working tomorrow....so I would have to go jump without him...although it isn't like I need him....I know how to pack, to manifest, to gear up, to get on the plane, to exit, to have a blast, to pull, then to land.... Ane if I go out tomorrow, I could go to the cute boutique that is in Vandalia....If I wait for Marc to be able to go on Sunday, it will be closed.... hmmm.....I love shopping.... ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    Ok....I have jumped once in the past 11 months...I am going to Rantoul and would like to jump there. Tomorrow it is supposed to be 84 degrees with a 10-15 mph wind. Tell me to get my ass to the DZ and jump! I just can't seem to get excited about it. I love it when I am there, but I am not fired up right now... Feel free to yell. Thanks, ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    Hey Tip, I haven't been to the DZ much in the past couple of years, but I am very grateful I was out there a week ago. I would feel terrible if I hadn't gotten to see you. A couple of years ago on St. Pat's Day, Canopycuddler and I took you to the Days Inn and bathed you. Remember how we had to cut the poop from your butt?? Then we gave you green hightlights for the holiday..... You were an amazing dropzone dog...technically belonging to a neighbor farmer, but as soon as you heard a plane or any other noise at the DZ, you would come and hang with the skydivers. Thanks for always stepping over our lines, and staying out of the packing area most of the time. Thanks for finishing my french fries if I was too full. Goodbye, Tippy. I will miss you. Anne

    I taught my dog to shake, give high five with each hand, depending on which hand you put up, and she gives ten....She is also trained to stay in certain areas of my mom's house....she doesn't come into the front of the house unless we give her permission...keeps her away from the door and out of the fancy dining room and living room. What I haven't been able to teach the stupid dog to do is fetch. What kind of dog doesn't fetch?? ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    It wasn't part of my training, but I try to practice what I know I will do....and both of my cutaways have involved swearing of some sort.... Another one I am guilty of...everytime I see a flag I determine jump ron and my landing pattern! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    If you don't drink, you don't have to buy beer for others. My rigger doesn't drink, so if he saves you, you owe him a case of Dr. Pepper.....cuz that is what he likes.... The nly beer debt I believe it is crucial to pay is rigger debt....karma is important ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    I believe in spanking a child only when they are putting themselves in immediate danger...ie: a toddler runs into the street without waiting for an adult. I would never hit my 10 year old....she is old enough to talk to and understand, even if sometimes she screams and plugs her ears..... ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    When we are out of town, we have the option of donating our newspaper to a local school. I wonder if we could do the same thing with out extra Parachitist? We currently get two Parachutists and two Skydivings every month...and I would love to spread knowledge of our sport to local high school students... Just a thought ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    I can't give you the motivation. It has to come from yourself. I was at 275 jumps, with only 10 of those in the past two years. I thought seriously about selling all my gear and just not jumping anymore. The thought of that scared the shit out of me. I could not imagine not ever flying again. And that was my answer. Whatever was keeping me from the sky...time, money, a new family...dz politics...whatever...did not beat out my desire to fly again...so I made a recurrence jump last Saturday and I am jumping again the Saturday.... I think you just have to listen to yourself and accept that skydiving may be a chapter that is voer for you...at least for now...and that is ok. Don't stay in the sport because you think you should. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    I use a backpack=type purse...and every time I put it on I go through my emergency procedures....I throw my pilot chute, say, "FUCK", then peel, pull, punch.... I am sure I look pretty weird every time I get out of my car and put my purse on my back!!!! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    11 : 1 : 0 11- months since my last jump (yep...that's rantoul '03 folks.) 1- recurrency hop and pop....massive line twists... that was fun. the flight and landing were great. 0- nothing crzay ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    One of the things that Gary and I have talked about is the number lock that some studetns seem to get. Those of us who know how to land just do it....whether it is entering the pattern at 1000ft or lower. I think that students entering this high puts them well above the other jumpers, and that is not safe. I guess my question then is how to teach some sort of benchmark numbers iwhtout having students become fixated on those numbers. The numbers do change based on conditions...how does one teach that? ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    Kiss passes should be a total surprise.... My first was with a guy whose girlfriend was waiting on the ground....our first kiss....he now lives with me...heehee...I love that we can say our first kiss was in freefall!!! Keep the tongue to yourself unless you know the person...there is nothing worse than gagging in freefall!!! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    I had my underbite corrected when I was 15. The most amazing part to me was all the things that I could eat normally after it was all over. I never even realized that I had trouble eating ribs, corn on the cob and pizza. Just being able to bite with your front teeth is something you will be astounded by how often you find yourself doing it once you actually can!!! I was super swollen for several weeks. They did not have to wire my jaws shut, but I was on a liquid diet for 6 or 8 weeks. Mashed bananas were my diet, mostly! I encourage you to go for it. I think you will find it all worth it in the end! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    The only thing I would add to the great advice you have already gotten is that you should have him/her spayed or neutered. No need to have extra cats running around the world. You should also get your cat a rabies shot since he is going outside. Just in case he catches a squirrel or some other creature with rabies. Otherwise, just enjoy! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    I love Target!!! I like to buy boyshorts/cami's to sleep in....and Skymedic doesn't seem to object I also have purchased several pants and tops and skirts that I wear to work. I love that I don't have to worry about getting chalk or marker all over them becuase they weren't terribly expensive. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!
