My father had that...and he actually recovered from that particular infection... We had a good time harassing him about having a bab y disease... He was 64, a lung cancer survivor, a lifetime smoker, and in poor health at the time he was diagnosed, and he recovered.... ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

I guess I do not see the harm in him telling me that he bought the flowers for me. The delivery guy would not come back by to try to find them...after falling out of the truck they would not be in good enough condition to deliver. So Skymedic picks up what would otherwise be garbae and gives them to me to brighten my day. Where is the harm? If I were to ever figure out that he had picked them off the street, I would laugh and tell him how clever I thought he was for saving us money by not buying me flowers!!!! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

You are right....I really should not complain at all...he did make us dinner...for me, him and our daughter...without complaint. And he cooked something that we had tried before and all liked....so he cares about what the eleven year-old and I think.... I should probably stop giving him shit about making me puke. Maybe I will stop tomorrow. Let him suffer just a bit longer. He knows I love him. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

He does not have to lie to impress me. However, if I am ever dumb enough to ask him a question along the lines of...."Do I look fat in this?" I hope he is smart enough to rearrange the truth a little bit. Not necessarily lie about how great I look, but not necessarily come out and say how fat I really do look. What is the harm in that? I guess you and I will just have to disagree. I do not think that an untruthful story takes any beauty away from the pic...I think it adds a strong element of believing in the best of man and beast....and who can't do with a little added positive energy in their world? ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

I tend to crack on people who do not use "your" and "you're" correctly. It is not because I cannot tell the difference, it is because I think it makes you look uneducated. I am engaged to an incredibly smart man who puts "your" every time, regardless of the intended meaning. He is smarter than that, so I expect better from him. Exactly like I do with my students and my daughter. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

I am with Dagny on this one. What is the harm in rearraging thr truth a little bit in this case? It made for a beautiful story with a beautiful pic. This is not rocket science or international politics...just a heart warming story about a man doing his job and being rewarded with gratitude from an animal....yeah...we better prove that to be false...you would hate for people to start seeing the good in the world or something like that. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

Aaaahhhh...enjoy...that does sound nice... I, on the other hand, had a good day ended crappily. (Is that a word?) I came home from purchasing my veil and tiara for the wedding to a home cooked meal made by my wonderful fiance. Unfortunately he did not read the label on the jar of salsa he used...it contained cilantro, which I do not tolerate. I only puked once. But....we did end up taking a nice walk together on this beautiful spring evening....so I guess i will stop bitching! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

And by the way....I was on my own for car insurance as soon as I graduated college.....and I was the most spoiled person I know. Most of my friends have been paying their own car insurance since they were 16 or at the very least 18.... ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

WFFC...where else can you rub elbows with people like Luigi, have breakfast with Don Kirlin, and talk to the people who desinged/make whatever equipment you are interested in learning more about? If I had to choose one, not having been to either, I would go to Rantoul. Then next year I would think about either repeating Rantoul or trying something new. Plus....We will be honeymooning at Rantoul. Isn't that incentive enough?? ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

Not mean at all!!! If they are moved out...then they should pay for insurance on their own. Are they in school still? If so, then maybe I would cut them some slack. My parents paid for my insurance the whole time I was in school...through age 24. When I got my first real job, they stopped paying for anything. It was all up to me, as I think it should have been. Do not feel guilty for making your kids be responsible for themselves. At 22 and 25 they are certainly old enough! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

Why would I have them done? There is plenty of time left.... No, seriously, I just got the return filed for my trust fund....numbers that I need to do my personal return...so I am going to be scrambling the next two days to get it done. I spent about $300 for my custom mouthgaurd during the year that I had constant headaches. It did not help my headache, but it sure helps my jaw pain. I now have trouble sleeping without it....it has become my pacifier....and I do not grind at all...well worth the $300....and my dentist will tighten it for free if and when it ever become too loose. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!
