I went with my daughter...I will not allow her to go without an adult present. We did not see many kids out and about....The constant rain may have had something do to with that. My first year in my house I bought for at least 50 kids. There were 2 kids that came by. I live on a street with mostly elderly people who turn their lights out. Kinda sad. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

I would agree with forcing them to have it in a certain configuration based on temperature or weather conditions, as long as those conditions were set forth well before the playoff started. Seeing as it is going to be chilly by Housotn's standards, the roof should be closed. The League stepping in because it is too much of a homefled advantage is crap. This thread has intrigued me. At first I thought I would jump in with blame on the parents. However, I think there is blame to be had all around. I am a math teacher in a public high school. I am one of the few teachers in my department who actually expect my students to get the right answers. I was in a meeting the other day with several teachers of one student. The English teacher said,"She is doing really good." If people were not taught proper English themselves, how on earth are they going to teach it to the next generation? My daughter came to live with us two years ago. She said "axed" when she meant "asked." She said "tooken" instead of "taken." We quickly taught her the correct way and continue to correct any grammer or pronunciation errors she makes. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

What the hell are you talking about? The Cardinals are not egotistical assholes. They are a group of guys who have come together and won 100 + games two years in a row. Jim Edmonds....yeah...he can be a jerk....the others...I don't think so. I am not going to compare them to the Astros, because I do not know enough about those guys. My (then) 8 year old step daughter introduced us to the card game Skip-bo. My five year old nephew loves it also. Skymedic and I even play it when there are no kids around! I love the UNO family of games.....traditional, UNO Attack.... ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!
