So as not to upset the thread starter.... I am drinking merlot, just ate an artichoke, and just downed some major painkillers. I tore my ACL three weeks ago. Just tripped over a stupid cat and aggravated it tonight. Not fun. But the artichoke and wine and drugs are! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!! -
Reminds me of an early parenting moment when my step-daughter came to live with us. She was eight at the time. We were playing cards, and apparently she thought that Skymedic was taking too long to take his turn. This angel faced, up to then perfect child said, "Play a fucking card!" She immediately hid her face and Marc and I were rolling on the floor laughing. We then talked to her about those words, and how they are not ok. In the three years plus since then I have only heard one swear word out of her...and that was just recently. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

I am a firm believer that anyone who puts down skydiving like that is just a pussy. They do not have the balls to do what you do, so to make themselves feel better about that fact, they put you down. I had a hard time coming to this realization. My father was proud of me for making my first jump, a tandem. He thought I was stupid for going back and starting training to do it myself. I finally realized that he might have had the cajones to make a first jump, but probably not a second. On some level he was jealoust that I did it, and I loved it enough to continue doing it. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!! -

I can hear it if I turn up my speakers... As a teacher...I do not get the need for this. My kids do not get my attention when they receive a text message, but when they RESPOND. My dad died of smoking related complications in December of 2004. I still miss him terribly. He spent his life making sure that my mom and my sister and I were all taken care of financially. He taught me: -family is important -being silly and funny makes life more fun. -to edit my writing...brevity is best -to love the Cardinals -to stand up for what i believe in I could go on and on...I am just so grateful that he had an opportunity to meet my (now) husband and his daughter....that he got to know my (now) family. He was not around for the wedding, but was a part of the early planning. He knew he would not be there. I love you, Daddy. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

I dropped my former middle name and use my maiden name as my middle and Skymedic's name as my last. I do not use the middle name at all, though. Anne Doll is just so cool and short!!!! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

I always thought I would marry a man who had never been married, never had a kid....and he and I would do those things together. Life threw Skymedic in my path and all that flew out the window. He has been married before, and has a now 12 year old that lives with us full time. Best part is that he knew EXACTLY what he wanted out of a marriage if he was ever going to get married again. I know he learned a lot from his "starter" marriage. We have been together for four years, married almost one. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

I am still recovering from last weekend....the worst weekend of my life.... -found out that hubby is the victim of identity theft -found out that step-daughter's mom is not in a good place (making a bunch of piss poor decisions) -tore my ACL -washing machine died -still not pregnant..... SO.....I am drinking heavily this weekend!!! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

You are right...and my husband is doing all of that. His position as a firefighter/paramedic in †he county is helping us here..... it still pisses me off that I came here becuase I am fired up about something that is clearly wrong, and there are people telling me that I am wrong. I have a beautiful step-daughter that I have treated as my own for the three years she has lived here. Just found out that her mom has used my husband's SS number AND her SS number to get credit..... WHO THE FUCK USES THEIR CHILD'S INFO TO GET CREDIT?? I can deal with sorting out my husband's credit, but why did she have to hurt her own daughter's credit? She is an innocent 12 year old. PEOPLE SUCK. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!
