    I think this completely depends on the age you are when you witness such an event. I came home from church choir practice in fifth grade and my parents were doing it in front of the fire place int he living room. I ran up to my room and refused to go downstairs for dinner. Had I witnessed such an event when I was older I think I would have been a lot less traumatized. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    I was totally cheering for him....right up until the point where he said there is only one apprentice. Her getting a job also would not take away from his accomplishments, it would only say that the second place finisher in this season was great, also.... As you said...PRICK ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    I voted "Hell, No," although there has been one exception to that. I went to an amusement park in Helsinki a few years back. There was a teenager in the back of the train running the engine, giving it more juice to get us up the hills and such. I much prefer the mechanically run rides. On a different topic, the idea of bungee jumping scares the shit out of me!!!! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    I have done some tutoring and loved it. I communicated with the parents of the students a lot, telling them what weaknesses I had noticed and lisstening to their concerns. I think it is also important to be realistic with the parents about what you can accomplish. A few tutoring sessions are not going to change a "C" average student into Harvard material. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    I agree with our national anthem. Every season at the last regular season home game, the baseball Cardinals do not pay anyone to come in and sing the anthem. The organist gets the song started and then you and 50,000 of your closest friends sing it a capella. I get goosebumps just thinking about it. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    I hate that I cannot use red exclusively. I allow my students to write in anything on homework, and very few ever choose red. My logical mind then says that I should grade most things in red. What really bothers me is that with all the read educational issues in this world, a group of people in my district sat around and wrote and rewrote this policy. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    When I was in the dating world it used to drive me crazy when the guy insisted on paying every time. Those relationships did not last long. After I am in a relationship for a while, dutch also drives me crazy, so alternating seemed to make the most sense. Now that we are married, he pays every time, but with the debit card to our joint account! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    As a teacher I am "allowed" to use red ink, as long as I do not use it exclusively. So I mix it up with some fun blues, greens, purples, whatever. And, yes, I count off for spelling. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    Please tell me I am going to start feeling better soon.....was diagnosed today with pneumonia, given antibiotics, pain meds/cough suppressant, and an inhaler.... When I woke up earlier today my temp was 105.6. I have to miss a family wedding and hanging out with my 6 month old nephew because of this. Ok....sob story over. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    Ok...it doesn't work for a first child...but a coworker of mine announced her second child was on the way by leaving a pic of her first wearing a "Big Brother" t-shirt. It was fun to see how long it took some people. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    In previous years my family has had two turkey dinners...one prepared by my father-in-law and one by my mom. THis year my father-in-law is out of town, so we are down to just one meal. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    Of course it did not happen....but I could argue that about most of the Christmas story. It is a beautiful IDEA.....that no matter your economic status, you still have some sort of gift to offer God. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    Thanks Deuce....This is going to be a thousand plus written test and also an interview with the psychologist/psychiatrist person. Along with other things he said he couldn't tell me. One thing that intrigues me about this test is that I know typicaly for the Police they want loners etc...due to the job...and for the firefighters they want team players...also due to the job. But what about public saftey departments. What is the profile there looking for. And also...I kinda figured it is pointless to out think it. oh by the way...this is skymedic...NOT my lovely bride. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!
