Which Main Is Good For Wing Suits !
BenediktDE replied to islandboyflyrz's topic in Wing Suit Flying
I fly a Sabre2 170sqft loaded aprox 1.3 and I am very happy with it's openings in a Wingsuit wearing a camera helmet. Openings are fine and performance is enough for me. Enjoy! For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong. -
For me clouds are the most scary when in a wingsuit. Especially if you are not the only bird but flocking. I prefere not to be in clouds, but if I wear a wingsuit I try to make it as sure as possible. Was in a cloud once together with an other flyer - that was nothing I like to repeat. I also did the first 20 jumps with an altimeter mounted on the wedge and on my wrist. Since aprox. 80 jumps I use the one on the wedge only. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

oh yeha! Torture me! 3 days of 40-50% more expensive tickets... plus travel, ferry, transfer to the dropzone and a place to sleep. But I watched the last video again and feel spoilt for choice... *sigh* Sponsors wanted! For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

Thank you for the reminder. I realy thinking of it but have to ask my account if it can cope Texel an Cochstedt... (and ordering a new Vector) For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

Right! Fly to Holland, pick up Jarno and come to Belgium! ;-) Meet you in Zwartberg! For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

The other reviews toled enough about the helmet that I would also recommend. I would also recommend to buy it from a reseller and not directly from Rawa! It took me 10 weeks until they processed the order and when they delivered one of the two helmets was of the wrong colour and had a double box instead of a single. I strongly recommend to order via a shop you trust and you know.

What is your Glide like? To land he installed flaps on his Wingsuit and sets them to 30° ;-) For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

AN 72 World Record- Who can count up to 70?

Since I can't count I'll just try to fly it - meet you in Cochstedt! For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong. -
They sent it before you paid? I don't even have an account to pay to... For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

Hi, anyone knows what is going on with Rawa? I sent them an order 3 weeks ago and never received a reply. I asked about account information and an order confirmation twice and still got no answer. Is their service that bad or don't they sell helmets any more? For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

I am thinking about buying the 350D or the 400D. I was not able to find big differences between these two on the comparison chart on the canon websites. What would you recommend and why? For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

Is there a deal about the ticket price? The website states it to be 30 EUR per ticket (in the italian site) for non-members. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong. -

There is a nice version of mudflapmount at Lookma Paraphernalia It still a bit in the way when packing but not as much as a rigid one. I like mine very much. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

ouch! Did you receive some coaching on performance landings or did you start doing turns by yourself? My instructor told me to use both risers and train to do that right before doing any turn. I am working on that task for aprox. 80 jumps now and I still not satisfied with the way I perform. (OK, I have to be more careful since I fly a higher WL.) Glad you did not seriously hurt yourself. I would be very pissed about that person. How did he know you did not brief that one of you pulls a bit higher before the other tracks away? He would not have been prepared for that. Scary story! For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

Last time I saw it was when I handed it over to a police man. I might have to look under his seat then? For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

The record for a hot-air balloon is more than 30.000ft... With normal loading 10.000ft should not be a problem. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

As a preparation für wingsuit flying I started to do trackdives. First solo, later with others and on my back. I did maybe 25 trackdives in a row, maybe more. If you can't track well, the tracking pants will not have any effect but to distract you. After beeing able to track well the tracking pants and tracking jacket are a nice thing, but they are not that easy to fly in the beginning. (I had massive problems keeping a good heading with them.)
