Great shots! Thank you! :) For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong. -
With aprox 200 jumps in my Phantom and a Sabre2 170sqft I voted 4kft. I pull somewhere between 3.5 and 4k. WL is aprox. 1.45 I used to pull at 4.5 to 5k for the first 100 jumps. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

I've never tried but all I can say is that I never saw one in a flock. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

I predict that within a few years, that will change. We'll see far fewer variations in suits and there will be an "ideal" wingloading. Just like CRW. And I've already seen a pilot wearing lead on the competition in Marl/Germany For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

In hot air ballooning championships such a device is used to measure the winds on altitude. I could try to get some infos from the ballooning association. Should I try? Could J-Lo do so in his ballooning association? For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong. -
Amen, Jarno! You should save this posting and use it as a standard-answer... Meet you in the sky "soon", derrickiv! For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

I had no reserve ride until my 421st jump. I remember I felt lucky about it but still I sometimes had the feeling I wish how it felt to have one. I kept training my EPs and under my spinning 421st deployment the first thing i thougt was "OK, this is the day!" and just what I knew was best. After landing I was realy glad and felt relieved that I now know how it feels. After this reserve ride I had one more uneventfull jump until my 2nd cutaway. Video of both reserve rides For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

Thank you for the flowers! :) I will try to get a bigger suit and try to reduce the the "German belly talent" as well. I realy enjoyed flying in Cochstedt - I think it was one of the best quality wingsuit meeting in Europe. Hope to you guys again in a flock near you soon! Nice shots! For your reserve: Your leg wing seemed to have been open at least on deployment of the reserve. Keep it under control! Enjoy the flocks! For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

OK, before Cochstedt I just did it. Washed the suit wrapped in a plumeau case with a wool program. The result shocked me! This memorable expensive scent I invested a lot of money in and suffered in overheated planes.... It is just gone! I'll have to work hard on getting it back during the boogies! As instructor it is very instructive for yourself to fly with the students! I also fly Wingsuits a lot and fly with the students in the pattern. There is hardly any day where I and my students don't learn something from flying together. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

There is a video out there where an experienced flyer tried this from an airplane. Short version: It did not work and nearly knocked him out. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

Ah, 'rodeo' was the key work for the search. Thank you! PS: Did you read my PM? For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

Hi, I would like to know how to safely ride a bird. (Not the boogie after beer version - we all know that one...) I am one of few birds on my DZ and I am often asked for a bird ride - how can these be done safely? For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

I am very happy with my NEXT and would buy it again. I can not say much about their mains but the Speed Reserve flies much nicer than the PD. If the deal is good - go for it! For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

Great list! One more: Become an instructor or watch students closely. You will be very likely sharing the pattern with AFF students or low exerienced canopy pilots! Know their typical mistakes and knew the will sllways invent new ones. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

He toled me he had a pilot chute hesitation and looked up to it by trying to look under his arms. This made him flip and end in the situation you described. Scary one - he toled me he did 3 further WS jumps later and was never able to enjoy it. Well, since he is a very good atmonauti flyer he might be able to fly in some flocks I've been in. Nice video, thank you! But where is the funnel that got the Skyjester price? For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong. -
I landed my reserve with the booties still on and did not even notice the wing when landing. Some BM suits have narrower wings (e.g. Firebird) where I would brefere a let cutaway but not on the phantom. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

Your profile sais you have a Pilot 170 ft². Try useing a canopie with ZP and F-111 like the Silhouette 190. These might pack at aprox. the same volume. Try before you buy. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

Thank you for your replies. The slinks are a good point. Did not think about that. So I'll order Type8 with standard loops. Thank you for your explanation. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

I would not try the "humidifier thing" if I did not know I was jumping the rig directly after packing (or few hours later). I would carry it to the DZ unpacked. Then either ask someone to instruct me. (Disclaimer: The next sentence is no advise!) Personally I would wait for weather to jump in, and pack it directly before this jump and wetten it with some sprays of water...
