More than you ever wanted to know on exit separation.

He didn't jump through cloud, he merely landed on it! Still, I've got a lovely sticker in my logbook that says I can jump through cloud at Picton! Yay!

No . She wouldn't even flash the pilot for extra height . I won't steal her thunder - I'll let her tell the story of her jump. However, she's got a new job, so I wouldn't expect her to see her here until this evening (it's 11am Sydney now).

I met a visiting yank who was telling us how he did an intentional cutaway on his 1000th jump, without telling anyone beforehand, just for laughs. Edited to add: just after filming a tandem video, no less. We shuddered to think what'd happen if he tried that here. He'd be lucky to get away with being banned from the DZ .

:6:0 Spent the day jumping with less-experienced jumpers. A couple of 4-ways, three Starcrests, and a 16-way tracking dive for Lainey's 100th. Lovely.

My FreeZR helped save my ass (or at least face)

Mine does. It doesn't have a chin cup, but it does have a strap that goes under my jaw and fastens just aft of my chin. When freeflying I tend to tighten it a bit. -
If you're looking to add to your list of service bulletins, the APF maintains a page with a list.

You don't know many engineers, do you? They're all pretty much raging alcoholics.

Maybe try asking them to land in a particular order? It means that they have to develop awareness of where their teammates are in the sky, but without putting undue pressure on them.

Why are you recommending Lasek rather than Lasik? To the best of my knowledge Lasek is primarily for the relatively small population of people not suitable for Lasik. -

I also use my Z1 freeflying without problems. Bear in mind though that I've only got about 30 FF jumps, all head-up. -
Minimum opening altitude for a tandem is 5000ft, so that's not surprising.

At 25 they should be absolutely on their own. At 22, it should be close. If they've finished school and are working they can pay their own auto insurance. I'm 26, and have supported myself since I finished uni at 21.

The way we do it: 1- Watch the video twice, in silence. 2- Each person: Say two things positive about other people in the skydive. Say one thing you're going to improve on fore the next jump. 3- Then the coach speaks their piece.

You're going to start selling an Accuracy canopy? Yay!

Unqualified advice: Stretch well after working out, and maybe replace one workout a week with a yoga class.
