Yup, I'll be out Sunday and Monday. See ya soon!

That's a really interesting table; I wasn't aware there was one available. Thanks!

Ooh! Ooh! Pick me! Pick me! I know the answer! Depending on who you talk to, the amount of time you should wait between scuba diving and skydiving is 12, 18, or 24 hours. If you're doing multiple dives to 30m+, wait 24 hours. Are you doing a Discover Scuba dive or the first weeekend of an Open Water course? If it's a Discover Scuba dive, I don't think you go deeper than 10m. 12 hours would be plenty. However, if you're doing an Open Water course, I don't think you go deeper than a couple of meters on your first weekend. You do all your work in a swimming pool, or just off a beach! 12 hours would be fine too. If it's the second weekend of the course, with the Open Water dives, you'll not be going below 18m. In fact, you're unlikely to go down more than 10-15m. 12 hours would probably be fine, and 18 would almost certainly be ok. 24 if you're paranoid. If you want a second opinion, give Git a call. He does a lot of scuba diving - far more than I do.

Reasons for wearing altimeter on leg strap?
bob.dino replied to freeflyfree's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Australia, for one. 5.1.8. An approved and functioning visual altimeter set to indicate height above the DZ shall be worn on all descents. The altimeter shall be securely mounted so that the wearer can observe it without difficulty throughout the descent. An ASO may authorise an exception to this regulation for specified descents where the delay does not exceed 10 seconds. Such authorisation must be made in writing. See also 5.9.1 and 5.9.A.3 regarding the use of audible altitude warning devices. -
We have a turbine beaver conversion. Similar to that beaver, though I believe ours is a little bigger. Ten is tight but doable.

Black and gold are my two...

We have that in work. It's great - lazy salespeople can't mess up the coffee machine 'coz they're too lazy to clean out their grounds .

Yup, you studied CS at U Twente, and have an interest in Computer Graphics. And?
-
Talk to some 4-way folks; they deal with this kinda stuff all the time.

Illy is nice. Lavazza is nice too. The coffee bars rock. Space for about ten people to stand, a coffee machine and a wall of spirits. One of my favourite things about Italy. http://www.blissbat.net/balzac.html

Border Collies rock. My uncle has always had them (he owns a farm). They're the best for herding sheep or cows. edit 'coz I'm an idiot

Yup, but I believe that for larger sizes a latte should be a double shot to a cappuccino's single shot.

Their Café Lattes are quite reasonable. Personally, I'm not a fan of hazelnut-double-mocha-with-whipped-cream-and-a-strawberry drinks. Note to your friends: lattes are usually made stronger than cappuccinos.

Chicken . Landing the backwards canopy is just a reverse Blind Man. Easy .

Link . Or, more seriously.

Become competent on my feet. Since I'm primarily a belly-flyer, whatever FF I do will have to be squeezed in around that. I'd also like to make at least 50% of my FF jumps with a coach, though that's expensive .

Spent most of Saturday jumping with lower-time jumpers. 3 Starcrests (8-10 way jumps to qualify you for larger loads), and two four ways. Loads of fun.
