When I tried that on my Spectre 190, I needed to grab the toggles and go to half-brakes to get it to inflate.

Into your Javelin? Not gonna happen, at least just yet. For the reasons, use the search posts link near the top of the page.

Who's going to the African Freefall Convention for Christmas?
bob.dino replied to Beverly's topic in The Bonfire
Yup. Roughly from when I wake up to when I toddle off to sleep . Actually, it seems to work in IE, but not in Firefox. Something dodgy to do with table sizing, I'd guess. -

Gotta love a boogie website that neglects to mention the dates the boogie is actually on . I won't be there... I'll be prepping for the Aussie Nationals. -
While you might be able to jump a 170, you're going to have a harder time persuading someone to let you jump a Stiletto 170. It's a high-performance fully-elliptical canopy. Chat to an instructor at the weekend, and they'll explain in much more detail... as well as giving you a go/no-go.

Make sure you also check with an instructor that the canopies you can put in a J3 are suitable for you.

At a Learning Curve camp? Enjoy! ...and don't forget to buy your beer!

Those of you who love black, blue, and white gear, c'mere.

I don't have any pics with me in work. It does contain a lot of yellow though . I'll see if I can dig a pic up this evening. If, of course, I don't go see Wallace & Gromit instead. -

She's wrong . My jumpsuit is black with royal blue grippers and looks decent. That said, my freefly suit is a hell of a lot more colorful . -
The number for directory inquiries in the bits of the USA I've been to. Used as a slang term for information.

Flourescent green, pink, and bright orange would be a beautiful combination, n'est pas?

The other major manufacturer is WayCool. They make a HC Classic and HC Pro.

It can almost certainly be modified to be FF friendly. If in doubt, show it to an instructor or rigger at the DZ over the weekend. They'll be able to tell you in a couple of seconds if it's FF friendly, and if not, how difficult it'd be to modify it. edit: Some punctuation in your post would be nice . It's kinda hard to figure out what you're saying...

You've just gone soft .

"You Shoulda Seen The Other Guy" ...after all, you're all black and blue .

What's your favorite plane?

So, did you get one or two jumps in during daylight hours? . -
The Event Galleries on Norman's site haven't been updated since 2003...

...but you can change that in your profile. All posts show up nicely for me in AEST.

...and that's why pilotdave created Skydiving Movies for us all...

...and if skybum searches using the terms ProTrack and Neptune, he'll find a shedload of threads discussing the pros and cons of each unit...

I don't do them all that often, as I'm concentrating pretty hard on 4-way for the rest of this year. They are fun though. I've done a couple of 21-ways, including one at sunset, which was absolutely spectacular, even if it was hard to keep track of everyone at breakoff.

The magic numbers are: humps, or other significant number: jumps : owed. My magic numbers: :12:0 12 4-way jumps with my team. Some damn good jumps - we definitely stepped up a level! All good .

I've no more info, but some background: The Western Australian State Champs were on this weekend at the York dropzone in WA. York is close to Perth, if you're looking at a map of Oz. I believe that it's the only turbine dropzone in WA, running a C208; they've definitely got a lot of sport jumpers. Skydive Express is the name of the operation.
