I assume that by "more glide" you mean a flatter glide angle? Either way, I've never jumped one, so anything I tell you about how they fly is just parroting someone else here...

If they're the same size, nope. Read II A here. Of course, once you start to play with control inputs, all that changes.

Are you thinking of the article called Understanding Your Slot? If so, it's available as part of the Airspeed Notebook, which you can get here. Thanks go to Todd Hawkins for providing the doc when he was last in Australia, Tim Bates for distributing it, and Gerard Dunning for hosting it

Haven't done this one in awhile - what you listening to?
bob.dino replied to jumper03's topic in The Bonfire
Get a new phone: SonyEricsson K750 or W800. Buy a 1 or 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo. Presto! An MP3 player you won't forget to bring with you. I refuse to carry around loads of gadgets, so this is the solution I use. Note: it won't play tunes downloaded from the iTunes Music Store without converting them to MP3s first. -

I think I love you. -
If you're happy to accept a copy, there's a link to someone who makes copies here.

Nice. I don't think you'll see too much of the yellow, but I think the yellow peeking out will look nice. Not my colours, but I think it'll match the suit nicely.

Is that your honey in your avatar with you? If so, then I think a matching canopy is a damn cool idea

Yep, I've had plenty of problems with foreign (made-in-the-USA) products. I've also had lots of problems with products made in the UK, Australia, China, Japan, etc etc. In my experience, the location in which a product was manufactured has minimal effect on the quality. The company doing the manufacturing has the ability to build a product to whatever standard it wishes; where it does this is less than relevant.

Would you mention that you are a skydiver?
bob.dino replied to Superman32's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
This thread has made me think about my approach. I've decided that in future I will mention my skydiving it it's relevant in an interview. If the interviewer takes it badly and decides not to hire me, that's great! It means I'm not going to end up working in a company with an incompatible culture. Saves time and heartache for both me and my prospective employer. -
Relax, smile, and be yourself*. The rest will come naturally

:6:0 Saturday was winded out, so just six team jumps on Sunday to report here...
-
I just tried to send myself a regular (non-HTML) postcard, and it worked just fine.

Only if, when elected, he provides a service .

Nice story mate

She's really proud of me, but it still scares her that I skydive. The first question on most Sunday evening phone-calls is 'are you finished jumping'? Before she visited the DZ, she really couldn't understand why I did it. After spending a day there, she took me aside and said she could understand why I jumped. It was the social side of dropzone life; the fact that people she'd never met approached my Dad and her while I was in the air, just to chat, that really impressed her. That and the fact that I was so obviously passionate about something so seemingly crazy that swayed her

I before E, except after fucking C.

Try Antony & The Johnsons too.

Kirrz has been jumping in Australia, not the USA. In my limited experience, Australia falls somewhere between the USA (light-to-none) and the UK (heavily regulated).

Nice. Let us know how it goes...

5% larger is the figure most generally used.
