  1. Not in Australia, where Silverchic jumps. However, since the original poster is US based, you're right.
  2. Jesus dude. You really need to learn to slow down and write more coherently. It's really hard to figure out what you're saying. That said, I think you're asking about the 200-jumps-degree in Mercer, NZ? There's been some discussion on it here. Use the 'Search Posts' link near the top of this page to root out some more info. All the best.
  3. Grab Cameron next time you're at the DZ. He makes FF helmets to which you can later add a camera box. You can pick up a Head Case or Hard Deck, and when you've got a couple of hundred jumps to your name, you can get him to fit a box for your HC90. Another Aussie supplier of damn good helmets & camera boxes is Cookie.
  4. Precision do. So does beezyshaw, the US distributor for HiPer products.
  5. Skarsy is the name of the mailing list. Your membership needs to be approved by the moderator, so budget a day or so to be let in...
  6. Our old Otter. The new one doesn't have nearly as cool a colour scheme .
  7. I betcha that pilotdave wouldn't agree with you. And given that he runs the site, I'd say go for it
  8. If you want to do half-decent 4-way, you must have your own suit. Or at least the same suit, week in week out. I've not done enough FF to comment.
  9. In other words, it's a matter of taste then?
  10. Sometimes I think that if we, as a species, didn't feel it was acceptable to kill everything and anything to make our lives a little easier, the world might be a slightly better place. To you, it's just a light that makes your porch look pretty. To the bird it's the place they raise their young. Surely it's not that much of a hardship? Besides, baby birds are cool
  11. 2:9:0 2 friends hospitalised due to landing incidents. Fortunately, both ended up being just badly bruised. 9 team jumps. Finally beginning to feel current again after lots of weather-induced sitting on the ground
  12. PD-R != PD. The PD series of canopies are F-111, and they're no longer manufactured. Based on my teammate's experience of a PD170, they fly well when loaded up to around 1.0, but not an awful lot higher.
  13. It's dead easy. You get on the M5 heading South (it's the highway to Canberra & Melbourne). After about 45-50 minutes, you take the Picton exit, and the dropzone is right there. Easy
  14. If you're going to change your username, just change it to 'Other'
  15. I don't think you can purchase a Skyhook separately at this time. You can either get it with a new Vector 3, or you may be able to send your Vector 3 back to RWS for modification. If you don't own or want a Vector 3, you're out of luck at the moment.
  16. Well done for taking the wet spot.
  17. As the bytch says, doing RW in a FF suit is pretty much a waste of time. Dress for success! If you'll only occasionally be doing RW, pick up a second-hand suit and save your dollars for a nice FF suit.
