Just so you know: St Patricks Day weekend, in Dublin. Dublin, Georgia, USA, that is.
-
What do you want to do? For RW, I have a Z1. Fits me nicely. Others recommend the Bonehead Mamba. For FF, I have a FibreZone Head Case, which can accomodate both side & top-mount cameras if I so desire. Cookie Composites also make really nice FF helmets, as do others.

Honorable Mentions are where the idiot in question doesn't actually die.

I'm not sure how it is like in the USA, but in Norway, the fact is that after serious accidents, the number of students for FJCs actually increases... It is weird, but true. Which makes me quite unsure about how bad this really is, at least when it comes to the business aspect. Same in Australia.

More "great" skydiving publicity on cnn.com
bob.dino replied to Spatula's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
"Blame not the Shayna?" If she was telling the unvarnished truth on TV, I don't think there'd be nearly as much hoo-haa. Unfortunately, she appears to be misrepresenting what happened. Which, when you do it repeatedly on national TV, blackens the name of skydiving and affects all who participate in it within the USA. -
Spitit is so much better than what you meant to type .

I saw video at the weekend of an RW team climbing out. The tail had his main flap open. The camera proceeded to close the main flap while the team were completing their climb-out and exit count. She still nailed the exit shot too

Fair enough...

Thank Kim at the APF office for letting me know

Is this the same Shayna Richardson that was on Skydive Radio's Pic of the Week for 11/07/05?

Sunpath have posted a new Service Bulletin, relating to a number of containers manufactured between Feb & Oct 2002. Sunpath believe they received a batch of 1000d red cordura with a substandard urethene coating. Specified containers with red cordura on the reserve container must be returned to the factory for modification. http://www.sunpath.com/downloads/bulletins/SPSB004.pdf

Looking back on it, of course. Weren't you pissed, at least for a minute, at the time? I would've been...
-
So, did you deck Mr 1? Nice story
-
Dunno what it's called in the USA, but if you think of a deeper - about 1" think - pide bread, you're on the right track...

The information you require is in the SIM. You can download the entire manual as a PDF, or buy a copy from the USPA store. edit: Bugger. Beaten. Twice, no less! That said, my link was more accurate .

Ekmek bread, toasted. Melted butter perfects it

Borrowing a trailer was just too easy, huh? Nice work.

Yeah, you . Heal well mate.

Scrambled eggs on Turkish toast, with a side of mushrooms, and a latte. But Eggs Benedict are a pretty good second

Mostly double-fronts.

A lot, though I don't have any experience on other canopies of its class. Comparing it to a Safire2 of the same size is like night and day. It's far more responsive and dives quite a bit more too. That said, I'm probably underloading it; at 1.2 I sincerely doubt that it's going to be performing as well as it could. The manual states that the Sam has a negative recovery arc when loaded at 1.3 or above. I chose the canopy after seeking Brian's advice.

Direct links to the first and second interviews Brian did. The second one is also excellent, particularly for the swoopers in the audience.

My Samurai 170. Apologies for quality of video frame grab.
