Gaan kak in die mielies...

Is this run as a competing series to the Pro Swooping Tour? Red Bull vs. Go Fast energy drink?
-
They suffer from a limited inbred incestuous gene pool over here (as well as a shortage of dentists), they need my sooooperior genes...

Another update, even more coaches have been added to the Freefly festival line-up : Filippo "Ippo" Fabio and Alexandro Ramos -Team Aria. Full line-up of coaches here. There is no bigger freefly event in the world than the Swedish Freefly festival.

What, some of the overweight, ignorant, arrogant Americans have moved back to Canada? It would certainly appear so....
-
I say old girl, jolly good, smashing what? Ladies in uniform? Bloody marvelous old fruit - gets the old Morris Minor running at six over the half dozen every time. Tiddly ho, chocks away. Will Esq. PS I do say Katherine, I've got a little something for Charles Bleu (that hirsute chimpanzee you associate with) - kindly ask him to pass along his postal address so that one may inititate postage.

Indeed she is. Gia, please be aware that most of the guys here are sad, desperate, pathetic perverts. In fact any bloke who posts to this thread after me falls into that category. Welcome to dz.com - when I make it to Raeford one day I shall be sure to have Chuck buy you a beer.

Nah, just do what I do and open wide for the other one!

Huh? I am from South Africa. I was taking the piss out of you feeling victimized in Europe for being hispanic, which is why I mentioned Spain. I mentioned Remi and France because he is French-Canadian (which means he stinks of garlic and is stupid). Everybody in Europe does not believe most Americans to be over-weight, ignorant and arrogant.

Yep, awesome line-up of coaches. At 130 jumps don't expect too much of yourself and do a couple of fun jumps between every coach jump (last year I did 35 coach jumps back to back, big mistake).

Stowing Excess Brakeline on Sun Path (Javelin) No Velcro Toggles
skreamer replied to quade's topic in Photography and Video
Nothing new for Wings owners then. (but of course Henri P. did design the first Javelin). -
Why not hang onto it? You never know, might need it a couple of years down the line... (God help you though if she finds out the ring was pre-owned though! )

Does anyone know where I can find a skydiving website?
skreamer replied to Muenkel's topic in The Bonfire

Yeah, apparently this is especially prevalent in Spain. And I know Remi (Remster) suffers from real prejudice in France. (but that is OK because I don't like him either...)

Was doing bit of research and came across this thread. I use a UV filter on my lens but have recently bought a polarizing filter just to play around with. I appreciate that it won't be a good idea for most skydiving photo opportunities. However, here is my question : on a bright, sunny summer's day, wouldn't you be able to get some good effects if you use the polarizing filter around noon? Logic being that you wouldn't have to worry about the 90 degree rule since the sun is directly overhead. (I appreciate that exit shots would probably be a washout). Also worth mentioning that I photograph freeflying so am generally on a level with my subject. Has anybody tried this or got any thoughts? (apart from don't waste your time/film with a polarizing filter ) Will

Not because BASE813 was too long to get tattooed on your knob and this was the next best thing?
-
You've been corrected already, but just about every point you made about the BPA system was wrong. Who fed you all this 'info'?
-
Sure I'm laughing but I'm crying on the inside... Wait until my therapist hears about this - bad spot induced public humiliation leading to incredible feelings of inadequacy. Hell, if this gets any worse I might just become a pilot!
-
I think we need a seminar on posting in flat vs. threaded mode...
-
As long as everybody is laughing at me and not with me.
-
Fine with me (I hear pilots hit like girls anyway...)
-
You're new around here aren't you? Even if you put me out in the wrong state by my standards that is still a good spot! BTW I've got a joke for you : Q) Why do pilots always wear baseball caps? A) To hide the scars from the lobotomy operation! Now you'll have to excuse me while I duck back into my bunker (Osama is making a pot of tea and Saddam wants to play scrabble)
-
Worse than a tourist, you are a PILOT. A necessary evil that has to be tolerated, just a glorified elevator operator... (shit, I hope Osama and Saddam have place in their bunker for me when Chris reads that... )

I really don't care either way if someone considers themselves a skydiver after a tandem. It is a personal thing you do for yourself, does it really matter? Me personally, I only considered myself a skydiver after my 9th jump (first freefall). In the seven year gap between jumps 11 and 12, if it ever came up I'd say I had tried skydiving. But that is just me, like I said, I don't care what other people consider themselves (generally about anything for that matter) - I am a skydiver and that matters most to me.

There was one guy doing AFF during the boogie last year, he had as good a party as everybody else. Everybody gets treated as equals there and they cater for all skill levels. Skygods who are up their own arses probably won't enjoy it. I really hope so, this boogie is the highlight of my skydiving year. Not that many - it is a really expensive flight from the states. There were a couple and they had a good time. One of the coolest things about this boogie is the diversity of people there, I was on a 7-way last year where each person was from a different country (England, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Russia, South Africa and Australia). Oh yes, and the women - some of the finest looking women in the world (who just happen to be shit hot freeflyers)!
