No, I only have 14 BASE jumps - I am not someone you should talk to. Here is the only advice I can give you : work overtime, get a second job, use a credit card and go do a FJC. I did mine at the bridge with BR, but I'm sure CR, Morpheus, Vertigo or JohnnyUtah's courses are all good. In fact $650 for Johnny's course is a GREAT price (if you are serious about doing it you really should be buying your own kit anyway - see above about credit cards, selling a kidney etc.).

OK, I'll bite : This wasn't even a BASE jump it was an ultralow hop n pop over a beach full of people in Cape Town that annoyed the locals. A) Did Felix get permission from the South African aviation authorities for this demo? B) If something had gone wrong on this jump innocent people on the beach could've been hurt. This would not have been a victimless crime. Then he pulled a similar stunt in the Netherlands only this time it was over an outdoor concert. Same as above : A) Was permission received from the Dutch aviation authorities for this demo? B) What if something had gone wrong with that crowd beneath? Do you appreciate that both these stunts could cause problems for skydivers wanting to do demos in future? I'm glad you are posting here Space because perhaps you can clear these up for us. For these jumps to be a victimless crime surely there should be no possibility of any innocent victims getting hurt?
