Back to the topic - this wasn't really depraved, but that legless incident, where everybody knew except a certain freeflyer doing the pulling, that cracked me up. Also the story of Saunders discovering Paddy's Everest of a crap on the floor in Gibbo's bathroom and then removing the light-bulb - that was funny too (especially when you hear what happened when Custard went in with his toiletry bag later). LOL, I'm cracking up just thinking about it!

Hinton is a really progressive dropzone. Subsidized coaching towards FF1 and/or FS1, regular club events (eg scrambles and multi-plane weekend) and a friendly, open attitude no matter what your skill level, preferred discipline or experience. The piss-ups are great too and you are guaranteed a bloody good laugh every week-end!

I know that Adrian Nicholas wrote a book about Patrick DeGayardon - his life-story as told to Adrian in the 6 months before he died. Does anybody know if this book has been published yet? If so, where can it be purchased? (I know the print-run probably won't be huge) It should make for some pretty interesting reading!

I read the above safety tip in an article by an experienced skydiver. It wasn't elaborated on in the article. Can anybody please explain how this is done and why (if?) it is a good idea. Thanks Will
