Thats what I said! Will PS limewire is great for pr0n as well!
  2. I actually bought the DVD version of this movie the beginning of 2001 - it totally sucked pipe. Part that cracks me up is when the dude bounces exactly in the middle of the peas. Then you see a close-up of his corpse and it looks like he is sleeping - no damage whatsoever from his high-speed impact with the planet... This was waaaaaay more ridiculous than the talking in freefall in Point Break (and the 4 minute freefall in PB was a helluva lot more entertaining too). Will
  3. I agree with what Remi said - read the reviews for L&B (Protrack and Prodytter) in the gear section and you will see how amazing L&B's after-sales service is. BTW I bought mine from www.dirtdive.co.uk (the cheapest place I could find it in the UK). /s "this is your life and its ending one minute at a time"

  8. OK, OK, I'm convinced - between Robin, Mike's wife and Merrick's chick (whatsername with the chameleon hair - ) - Oklahoma women seem to rock. You Okies ever consider setting up a mail-order bride scheme? Must cook, clean, pack and enjoy spending all weekends at the DZ! /s "this is your life and its ending one minute at a time"
  9. Well done Terri!!! Hey Gary, you still jumping at Skydance? Next time I am out there we must make some skydives (seeing as I still owe you for taking off work last time!). Hey, at least now we can jump together (poor you.... ). /s "this is your life and its ending one minute at a time"
  10. Dude, there were a bunch of jumpers from Hinton at Lake Wales : philhartree (he posts here), Tim Carter, Steve and Elaine Park and Roger Dodger. Steve took along his big-ass new tube - did you see them jump it? (BTW they are all freefliers). Will

  14. Hey guys - I bought my Wings from Roy in July and was very happy with the service I received. I have since made about 100 jumps with my Wings and am still very happy with it. I got to jump with Roy and his brother Terry when I collected my rig, they are really good people (as is the rigger Alex). BTW I took the backpad option and highly recommend it. Please tell Roy I say 'Hi' (South African Will who collected his Wings/Hornet/Tempo there in July 2001). I'm sure you'll be extremely pleased with both your choice of dealer and container! Will

    FS1

Have you had a look on the BPA's site? (www.bpa.org.uk) Look under 'BPA Office' for 'Documents on-line'. Have you got your IC1 yet? If not, its probably a good idea to get that first because a lot of important areas are covered by it (eg canopy control, spotting etc.). BTW the FS1 isn't just *any* 4 point 4 way. I got warp coaching and found it helped me progress towards my FS1 in a safe structured manner. Of course at Hinton your WARP coaching is subsidized by the DZ all the way up to your FS1 dive..... (and they subsidize FF1 coaching as well!)
  18. Skydiving in the UK? Its cold, damn cold!!! Buy some skiing or snowboarding socks, thermal underwear and a good pair of winter gloves. I jump with an open-face helmet, so have just invested in a balaclava. Apart from the cold the weather is often better than the *summer*. I don't wish I was in Florida, really.... /s
  19. Hey, Frank, you're really starting to get those jumps in now! Is 2002 going to be a big year for you??? (if the Canadian dollar co-operates that is) Hinton is still closed until next weekend, so I've been practicing my packing, setting the oven timer to 15 minutes and racing it - and I'm still losing!!!! (BTW I am fully aware of how sad practicing my packing on a Sunday evening is...) /s
  20. Dude, that is a sweeeeet suit!!! Will PS you don't qualify for Fat Bastard status, only Bastard status....
  21. Hi Emmie, have you considered buying second hand for your first (BEER!!) rig? From your other posts I gather that apart from this windfall you do not have unlimited funds (being a student and all). Why don't you buy a suitable second-hand rig and then use the money you save towards finishing your AFF and buying jump tickets? (BTW I have a Wings and like it, some of my friends have Dolphins and like theirs) Will
  22. This is NOT true. I did AFF in South Africa, went to the states and did 12 jumps there, then came back to the UK and got my BPA A-license signed off and issued without having jumped in the UK. I did have video evidence to support my documents. If you do AFF in the states and get camera on a couple of the jumps (particularly level 7) then you CAN get your BPA license issued when you return (if you have the necessary jump numbers required). The only problem you *might* face is a bit of aggro from UK dropzones because you chose to do AFF abroad - perhaps this is motivated more by lost business than questionable training standards elsewhere? Video will really help you a lot upon your return, at worst they might ask you to do a check-out (level 7) jump which is not an unreasonable request. Will
  23. Only it turned out Chuck's *member* was actually Clay who had had his head jammed up Chuck's bin laden as usual. So now Clay was in freefall without rig, luckily skreamer saw this, swooped in and got some GREAT video of Clay squealing like a little girl. Fortunately for Clay, 3flier then docked on him and repeated his party trick of getting two canopies out! They landed safely, but unfortunately the PLFking landed on them, killing them instantly, meanwhile up above the action continued....
  24. Yep, its true, when I asked the Chuckmeister for help I got really good, comprehensive advice. I got unbiased advice in my selection of canopies and this is exactly why I will strongly consider a Cobalt next - because I got the advice that was right for me at the time (Hornet loaded at 1.2:1). I'll buy the beer, whatever you get from all these other groupies (AirAnn, Clay etc) is their business! /s
  25. Hi Emmie The only way a company will sponsor you now is if you work for them. I got the last company I paid for to pay for some jumps for me, I just had to wear a crappy company T-shirt and provide stills and video. Any other company looking to sponsor someone would find somebody already established in the sport. Why don't you make some money in the sport? Pack on Saturdays and jump on Sundays? Or work in manifest on the weekends - they usually need extra help in the season, crap money but you get *free* jumps. Will
